Chapter 67

It is Pon who hands Nom’s and his share of the fare to Mochi. Tas was the first one to alight their cab. Mochi is at the front passenger seat, while the rest are in the back seat.

“Have a safe trip home P’Mochi,” bid Pon.

“I will nong. Thank you,” said Mochi with a Wai.

“Tell Guy you’re home once you get there,” joked Nom, chuckling, while holding the cab’s door open.

“Close the door,” replied Mochi, dismissing Nom’s jest. He, then, tells the cab driver to go. When the cab is away, the couple walk to Nom’s condo, holding hands.

On the sofa set inside Nom’s room are two Wayward Souls – boyfriends – named Rain and Check, trying to hide from Hukoms that are chasing them.
