Mae walks inside the library letting her thoughts wander around. "The past week has been too intense, I really need a break." She waves at Ben absent-mindedly and gets seated at her table. "First the double date–that was like a fever dream, then Robin…" Mae's stomach sinks at his thought, "and then I sleep with Ashton?"


Mae's heart rate increases as she thinks about Ashton. "And we kissed again, yesterday? What am I doing!? I feel so dissociated–it's like somebody's taken control over my body and I'm just spectating from above. I need to stay away from everything for sometime. I really need a distraction."


Clarie walks over to Mae's table. "Morning, Mae! You're pretty early today."


"Yeah, I had to leave by noon yesterday, so I thought I'll catch up on everything today."


"Cool. Did Robin trouble you after yesterday?"


"I didn't see nor talk to him after that. I hope he doesn't show up today."
