Her face is also in different products as she is one of the most sought after endorser and influencer around the world. Stellar's social media accounts are one of the most followed and subscribed accounts all over the world. In other words; the name Stellar is synonymous to fame.

However, tonight… She is Scarlet Andrews; the real her. She savored this very rare moment of being free from people's scrutinizing eyes. The sound of the waves embracing the shore was music to her ears. The sight of the rich kids passed out on the beach was gold for her. They were the ones who hired her to perform for their party.

"I can't believe they spent a million dollars to see me perform here and now they lie drunk on the beach like homeless kids." Scarlet smirked as she weaved through them to go out of the private resort.

Usually, if she was stranded like this, it would mean war for her and Phoebe; her assistant; but today is different because today being stranded meant freedom. She was tired and was sound asleep in their hotel room. What was special about this island is that the locals do not seem to know who she is. But still wanting to be sure, she wore a pair of dark sunglasses and a scarf around her head as she walked by the shore. It is the first time in years that she felt waves crawl over her feet.

Scarlet drew in fresh air like it was her last full breath. Her smile was plastered on her face like it was there to stay. This was truly a night to remember for her. A piece of her peace and quiet was finally within her grasp… Or so she thought.

"Ahem. You look like a fool with those glasses. Is it your first time on the beach?" A rude voice filled her ears. She almost fainted as she never saw the man even in her peripheral view. She placed her hand on her chest as she turned around to see who the rude man was.

He did not seem like he was a local. His hair was messy as the wind was quite strong, but his prominent jaw line, thick eyebrows and deep-set eyes were a sight to behold even to her steep standards. He was wearing an unbuttoned white linen shirt and a black board shorts. The stranger carried his clothes well that they simply looked expensive, coming straight from the magazine cover.

He sneered at her unapologetically, staring back at her while he was sitting on the beach. It was as if he knew his charms impressed Scarlet.

Scarlet hissed as she realized what he was doing. She wanted to astound the young man by revealing to him who she was. Scarlet removed her dark sunglasses and the scarf over her head. Her long red wavy hair looked great in her short white dress. She purposely smiled at him to give him the shock of his life. "Stellar in your area, oh yeah!" She was almost hearing her song as she flipped her hair.

"See? You don't look that bad. Why do you have to hide yourself?" He commented after Scarlet showed him her face.

It was complete three hundred sixty degree turn for Scarlet. "Looks like this man does not even know me at all." Her own thought bewildered her. It was rather a very pleasant surprise for Scarlet. She walked towards the man and sat beside him. Scarlet obviously lost that part, but in the end she still won. She is not afraid to look like a fool in front of a stranger.

He chuckled, seeing how game the woman was. She basically sat beside a stranger; he offered him one of the two bottles of beer he brought with him. And to his surprise, the beautiful woman accepted it. He felt a little guilty being too rude to her. "Are you okay?" He asked her.

Scarlet felt a little off. The man was rude and arrogant at first and now he suddenly changed his behavior. Nevertheless; she politely replied to him. "I've never felt happier." She answered with a smile.

He tried his best to conceal his smile. He wanted to appear cool and collected. "What are you doing here looking like that?" His arrogant demeanor came up once again.

"I just wanted to explore the Island." She replied and gulped the beer he handed her earlier.

Adam nodded and gave her unsolicited advice. "It is dangerous for a woman like you to walk around being too friendly to strangers.

Scarlet looked at him straight in the eyes and extended her hand to the cute guy. "Scarlet."

He accepted her hand and responded briefly. "Adam."

Scarlet smirked at him and playfully replied. "Now we are no longer strangers." They both laughed at her terrible joke. "How about you? What are you doing here at this time of the night, drinking alone?" She added.

"Hmm, distressing. I guess." Adam answered. He felt weird about himself. Why did he openly speak to the woman he barely knew?

"Same. Isn't it amazing how just the gentle breeze and the sound of the ocean waves can settle your nerves?" Scarlet could not remove the smile on her face as she inhaled more fresh air. She tilted her head towards the sky thankful to the maker for this rare moment.

"Weird as it may sound, but… I get you. That's why I am here too…" Adam replied and drank from his bottle.

Scarlet chuckled. "Okay, which is which? You are temporarily hiding from your obligations, or you are just a nature lover who sucks at socializing?" She was amused by the newfound friend she met on the island.

"Let's just say, both." Adam said and raised his bottle towards Scarlet. Their bottles clinked, and they almost finished their beers in one go. This was the first time Scarlet was able to gulp a bottle of beer and with a stranger. She is being very bold, and she loves it.

"Dang, you could handle your alcohol. You did not seem like a heavy drinker to me." Adam commented when he saw the empty bottle on Scarlet's hand. He took it from her hand. "Do you want more?" He politely offered her another beer.

Scarlet had a moment to contemplate her actions; "Is he trying to make me drunk? Or is he really underestimating my drinking ability?" She stared at the handsome man beside her and again fought with her thoughts. "Can I trust this guy? I mean he is hot and all but…"

"Of course you can trust me, after all; I am hot and all, right?" Adam said out loud.

Scarlet was so surprised she covered her mouth. Adam laughed even louder. "Did I just say those words out loud?" She asked him. Before Adam could even answer, their quiet place was invaded by noisy drunk men walking towards them.

"Oh, shit!" Scarlet saw these men earlier at the party. She instantly took her scarf and covered her face with it. To her surprise, Adam sat closer to her and went under the scarf as well. Their faces were so close Scarlet could barely breathe. "What are you doing?" She asked him.

"It seems to me that you don't want these guys to see you, right?" He asked her as their lips almost touch.

She nodded as she bit her lips. Scarlet's heart felt like it was stuck in her throat. Except in movies, this was the first time to be close to someone. She could literally feel his warm breath on her face; her personal space was totally gone.

"It would be weird for you to cover yourself like that, but this would be more acceptable." He reasoned out to Scarlet. "Let's just wait till they us pass by." Adam added.

"Go get a room guys, Jeez!" One of the men said as they passed them by.

"Maybe she's one ugly b*tch, he wants to hide her." Another man said and sat a little close to them.

Adam moved his face from the scarf. "That's a good idea." He said and stood up. He carried her like his bride. Scarlet almost shrieked as her body left the ground.

"Where are you taking me?" Scarlet asked him quietly while still concealing her face.

"I'm bringing you to my room." He answered confidently. While Scarlet's heart fell to the ground right there after hearing his answer.
