"Hello everyone! Don't worry about anything as you are all safe with my big brother protecting you." When Lisha-chan spoke, the kids visibly calm down. Kosei felt it was the right approach, as the kids would feel much more comfortable and would believe Lisha-chan's words because of the same age group and the invisible charm which Lisha-chan gives out when speaking with confidence in her tone.
He also tried to see in his memory if any kids resembled the characters that he knew but to his disappointment, he found no one among them or wasn't able to recognize them.
When the kids calm down with Lisha-chan's help, Kosei had to feed them first as they were looking very frail without many nutrients in their bodies. So once they were well fed, he took them back to Old Arcadia Empire.
It was already midnight when Kosei came back with the kids who were now in very comfy clothing that was provided by Kosei. This again, was amazing for Lisha-chan, seeing the clothing appearing out of thin air but this time other kids also have the same expression as Lisha-chan, surprised and amazed.

"What the...!" Kosei got surprised to see the scene in front of him.
The Old Arcadia Empire was already in the ruins and there were hundreds of destroyed drag-rides lying around in ruined buildings or houses.
But the spark of weapons clashing and the discharge of energy guns can be seen in the sky from time to time. Every time a lone black Drag-knight flashes by, one or two Drag-knight would be falling like a puppet after being cut off their strings.
"Wow! Who is that, Big brother!" Lisha-chan asked looking at the awe aspiring feat of black Drag-knight.
"Hmmn! A hero or maybe a traitor, whichever perspective you want to see him!" Kosei replied while asking her what she see at the moment.
"A hero!" Lisha-chan replied feeling puzzled but still understanding that the black knight is against the Old Arcadia Empire meant he was fighting to end this war.
"Good answer, but a few people would still see him as a traitor who brought misery to them!" Kosei praised Lisha-chan and patted her head while also explaining his reasoning for black-knight being labeled as a possible traitor.
He was explaining to the princess so she won't just think from one perspective only but develop a flexible mind. He was hoping for her to develop into a fine young lady who would also be a capable ruler in the future.
Anyways, useless matter aside, he was hoping for the war to an end by now but looking at the speed of Black-knight who was massacring his enemies, he thought it would take a few more hours.
The kids behind him had long started to shiver from the sheer fright that they are feeling after entering the city, which was also the reason Kosei was hoping for a shelter to leave these annoying kids behind.
"Swish...!!!" "Bang...!!" "Thud!!"
"Well, this place is not safe for you kids, so let's go find you a proper place to clean first and later settle you down!" Kosei blocked a bolder and kicked it aside while he beckoned the kids to follow behind him so he can lead them to a safe place where they can clean themselves from the dirt and bad smell on them.
After finding a relatively remote house that was away from the noise and all the fighting.
"Okay...kids! This place would be your sleeping place for today, and also make sure to wash yourself up before you come out from that bathroom." Kosei pointed to a slightly good-condition house to the kids behind him and instructed them what they should do at the moment and showed them the place where they can bathe themselves.
Fortunately, all the kids were 10 years old or above so everyone knew how to clean themselves. There are separate units for the male and female baths. The house most likely belong to a noble or a rich person as the decorations inside which were still intact looked very expensive.
"Hey, Illia! Are you awake or still hibernating?" Kosei called out to his Grimoire once he was alone and away from the kids. He asked because he didn't hear anything from her from the moment he came to this world.
"Hmmn! I am awake at the moment and what do you need me to do? Master!" The Grimoire materialized in his neck and Illia's confused voice came from it.
"First, we are not in your world and are a completely different world so you can't use the energy in the atmosphere to cast the spells like before!" Kosei said and cleared her doubt a little after noticing the confusion in her voice.
"What...! When...and how...how is this possible!" Illia was shocked to hear that they are in a different world and she also felt the difference when she tried to sense the magic in the air but found that there was a different type of energy present in the atmosphere which she had no idea of it. Even though she tried multiple times to cast a basic spell but to no avail.
"Illia, can you cover this house with your barrier first? We can talk about the things that you are curious about, okay!" Kosei's voice brought Illia from her contemplation state and deep thoughts. He asked while supplying his energy to Illia so she can start to cover the house with her barrier.
"Okay..! I can do that, but make sure to explain to me what's going on here!" Illia accepted his order and cast her barrier with the energy provided by Kosei to last for the whole night at least.
The white translucent energy shield covered the house in a moment, Kosei nodded looking at this, and relax his body a little. The whole time, Kosei was on alert for any kind of danger that might come to them.
Now he felt that his shoulder has gotten a little lighter, he went back inside to check on the kids if they were done with their baths or not.
"Big brother...big brother! We have taken our baths." A little girl came running when Kosei return inside the house and shouted with her cute voice making Kosei smile looking at her.
He then looked at the other kids who are now cleaned and much better than before, he nodded and smiled at everyone.
"Okay, let's go to sleep everyone as it's already very late and it's not healthy to stay awake so late!" Kosei looked outside the window which was pitch black and silent without any noise which was possible due to the Illia barrier. He addressed all the kids with a soft smile, mentioning to them that it was bad to be awake so late at night.
"Big brother, there aren't many beds for everyone to sleep in!" Lisha-chan suddenly reminded Kosei what he was forgetting about so he went inside and search for futons or something which can be used as a futon.
Fortunately, he found some so everyone went to sleep just after laying in the warm futons. The little princess and her sister ended up sleeping beside him so his one hand became a pillow for both sisters.
"Good night, everyone, and sweet dream little princess!" Kosei said towards sleeping the kids and wish them good night's sleep while he patted the little princess and her sister's heads warmly then he also went to sleep a few minutes later.
