"ROOOAAAARRRR...!!"

As they approached, the roars grew louder and more ferocious, accompanied by a trembling that seemed to originate from the ruins. The sound reverberated through the air, echoing off the surrounding walls and intensifying until the whole area seemed to shake.

"Woah...!"

"This is huge...literally huge...!!"

"Not only that, look at that huge abyss over there!"

"Can anyone stand against this huge monstrosity!"

The girls were in awe at the sight of the huge abyss, standing menacingly in the distance and the vast open space in the shape of a square. They could hardly believe that anything could stand against such a huge monstrosity.

Kosei surveyed the immense Abyss before him, anticipation coiling through his veins. Not having fought for five years had only increased his hunger for battle, and he couldn't help but smirk at the pressure radiating from the great chasm.

"Iblis, not bad," he murmured, confident that he can control his strength and would enjoy fighting against this formidable opponent. "You'll last a while against me."

Kosei took one look at the abyss and was reminded of Asura, a popular deity in mythology. The creature before him was huge, at least thrice the size of the average house, with wings and six arms. Its features were demonic, resembling a Diablos on steroids. With a mocking jibe, Kosei realized that this was a cheap knockoff of Asura.

"Ragnarok, Iblis!" Lisha-chan and Krulcifer exclaimed looking at the abyss.

The oppressive weight that threatened to crush the girls was held back by Kosei, who stood firm in the face of the sinister pressure. Without his intervention, the girls might have been crushed under the inescapable force.

"Thump...!!"

"Booomn!!

Iblis sent a shockwave of destruction, causing the ground to tremble. It sent out a dreadful roar that sent a chill down the spine of all who heard it. The power of Ragnarok's rage was palpable in the air, and it seemed as if the very fabric of the garden was trembling in fear.

"Illia-chan! Take care of them and made sure they are protected while I flex myself for a while!" Kosei said and Illia materialized her body while giving him a bow and nod of acknowledgment.

"Swiiiiish...!!"

Kosei vanished from his position in the next second and appeared in front of the Ragnarok, Iblis.

"Instructor Kosei vanished from there, where is he!"

"There...there, he is there, right in front of that huge abyss!"

"Ohh! Instructor-Ksoei is trying to fight that abyss!"

"Wow...it's so exciting, I am feeling wet again!"

The girls stood rooted to the spot, their eyes widened in shock and disbelief. The dashing instructor they had grown to admire and adore had never truly taken action, except for a few brief moments that were over before they had even begun. Now, however, he was ready to take on a challenge with a determination that was as resolute as it was awe-inspiring. Excitement and worry mingled in their hearts as they watched him step closer to the abyss, ready to fight. It seemed as if the girls were finally going to witness the greatness of their handsome instructor.

Kosei directed an immense amount of pressure towards the abyss, demanding, "Come on, don't let me down, Iblis!"

"ROOOOAAAARRRR!"

"Flashhhhh!"

The nerve-wracking roar resounded from the Abyss like a thunderous clap of doom, its eyes blazing with a crimson hue that illuminated the area around Kosei.

"What is this supposed to be? Some kind of attack?" Kosei said, his voice laced with sarcasm as he stood unscathed.

The monster known as Ragnarok, Iblis, had just unleashed its most basic yet dangerous ability – Mental Pollution – on Kosei, yet it had no effect on him.

The sound of its horrifying voice and the light emanating from its burning eyes had a deleterious effect on the minds of those around it.

Yet Kosei was blessed with a powerful ability of his own, one that shielded his mind from any external interference, rendering Iblis's ability useless.

"ROOOAAARRR..!!"

The Ragnarok roared angrily as Kosei, unfazed, boldly stepped in front of the raging Iblis. Kosei guessed the emotion of the Ragnarok and, in the next second, he was greeted with a blazing fire breath spewing from Iblis' maw.

"Woah! That's a dangerous flame you've got there," Kosei shouted as he dodged the flames, narrowly avoiding the searing heat.

And then, without warning, Kosei sprang forward, his body zig-zagging through the air as he delivered a swift slap to the Iblis' face.

"Now that's a great move if I do say so myself!" Kosei boasted as he landed lightly on the ground, much to the surprise of the Iblis whose balance was thrown off. "I felt a slight relief from the itch I was feeling on my hands!"

"Woooosh!!" "Craaaaack...!!"

Iblis stood strong, its presence becoming almost threefold, the aura emanating from its form visible to the naked eye. It seemed like Ragnarok, Iblis, had finally unveiled its true power, it's power is closer to a Demon Lord-class Magician of Trinity Seven's World.

"Now you're getting serious!" Kosei exclaimed, feeling the immense pressure of Iblis' formidable strength.

"Bam! Thump! Boom!"

Iblis unleashed a series of firebreaths, aimed right at Kosei. But this time, he didn't dodge them. Instead, he moved his body ever-so-slightly and deflected them back at Iblis using one of his signature techniques, Yin's & Yang's Stability In Chaos.

The entire area around them became his domain, an immense taichi-styled formation emanating from his form.

"Bang! Bam! Boom!"

Iblis was hit by the very attacks it had thrown, but it continued on, raining down an onslaught of powerful punches at Kosei. Though its body was large and imposing, its speed and mobility were far from hampered, matching Kosei's speed even when he was only going at half of his full capacity.

"Not bad for a copycat of Asura," Kosei said sardonically. "You can keep up with my above-average speed!"

"Baaam!" "Screech!"

"In response to his jab, Iblis punched him in the stomach with full force, causing Kosei to slide a few steps back.

"Ohh! It stings a bit, you do have the strength to rival my past self. Unfortunately, you won't be able to do much harm to my current self!" Kosei looked at his hands, which he had used to guard against Iblis's punch, and felt stinging sensations which soon subsided.

"Let's use that move!" Kosei muttered, and got into a basic punching stance. His body suddenly blurred.

"Booooooooomn!"

"Serious Mode: Basic Punch Black Hole!" Kosei's voice reverberated after the loud booming sound.

"Craaaaack...!"

The previously standing Iblis body swayed a little and a cracking noise came from its frame.

Slowly, the body of the huge abyss, Iblis, started to scatter like glass sands into the air.

"Woooooosh!!"

With a large gust of wind, the whole body turned into dust and flew along with the wind to who knows where.

"Ahhh! I shouldn't have used that, now the opponent is already dead. Who should I play with, I got excited for nothing." Kosei came back to his senses and looked at the scattering dust which had once been the huge body of Ragnarok, Iblis. His face was sad for a second before a smiling expression returned to it.

He turned towards the girls, who were still lost in the fight that had become anti-climatic in the end, though he hadn't imagined it would end like that.

"Hey, girls! The trip to Garden Ruin is over, so mind coming back to your senses and gather whatever evidence is left of the Ragnarok remains in the scene. We do need to leave here, after all, this place doesn't even have good-quality air," Kosei said, his voice laced with authority, giving the girls incredulous expressions as they tried to process the sudden change in their situation.

They followed his instructions, carefully packing up the materials scattered around, and placing them in boxes for safekeeping. Krulcifer asked Lisha-chan, "Why do you think Ko-san has that kind of face?" as she scanned the area for anything else they might have missed.

Lisha-chan smiled wryly, offering her own explanation. "Ahh! Maybe he didn't get to enjoy the fight with the Ragnarok, Iblis."

"Okay girls, if you're done then can we leave now!" Kosei boomed, the girls having momentarily forgotten his presence as they discussed how handsome he looked when he fought heroically against the Ragnarok and eventually emerged victorious.

Little did Kosei know that the girls would be telling tales of their adventure to all those they met, and soon, a legendary tale of his heroic feat would spread throughout the New Kingdom of Atismata, making him the object of envy for every young masters and the idol of every maiden.
