Alex shivered. He felt like he was being watched. However, he couldn't sense anybody so he decided to brush it off.
He was currently looking for a place to stay the night. He could sense no end to the forest, but he continued moving, his exhausted body pulling him forth. He needed to find some shelter, but he was just so tired.
Reluctantly, he decided to take the risk. Scaling a tree, he perched on a branch, laying across it. As soon as he lay down and secured himself, he passed out, not noticing a curious bird watching him.
A crow had noticed his presence. Normally, it wouldn't care for things like this, but it had noticed something peculiar about the human who now lay sleeping on the branch.
He was... shiny.
Really shiny, in an attractive way. The crow really liked shiny things, so, after some contemplation, it made a decision.
...
Alex awoke to an unfamiliar view. This was to be expected, except for he was now in a house and a woman was looking at him.
Alex bolted upright, reaching for his sword only to see it in it's scabbard on the other side of the hut he now resided in.
In front of him was a woman. She had black hair, though not pitch black and a feather coat that ran along her back. She gazed at him curiously, almost greedily. She was beautiful, but she hunched up and just stared rather than reacting to him waking up. The only time she moved was when she noticed his bright eyes, which caused her to look at him even more greedily.
"...Hello?"
Alex called out to her, confused about his circumstances. He was grateful she had helped him out, but was confused about his current location. He knew she wasn't a beast, but he couldn't understand why she would help him out or why she would be in the forest. Her eyes also gave off a somewhat similar expression to the women that he knew, though far less obsessive and insane.
"Bright. Shiny."
She just said two words before refocusing on him.
"Me?"
She nodded.
"Is that why you saved me?"
She nodded again.
Alex was a bit confused and a bit relieved. He was in the 2nd Heaven, so this woman was probably stronger than him, but he was thankful that she had saved him and didn't seem to planning anything. She was probably an oddball that lived in this forest. Their were people who did that back home as well.
Alex just looked back at her, staring into her eyes. The eye contact caused her to flinch and she looked down, before approaching him. She grabbed his shoulders, before moving down his arms and chest, as if experimenting.
Alex was flustered, but he didn't stop her.
"Why? Why are you so shiny?"
She stopped, before looking at his lips. She didn't seem to want to make eye contact.
"Uh... I don't know."
She nodded again, before motioning for him to stand up.
"I need to know."
She circled him, feeling up his chest, though not going towards his lower body.
"Um... thank you for saving me, but I really should go."
To his surprise, she actually nodded, indicating her approval.
"Thanks."
Alex meant it, as he moved towards the doorway, grabbing his sword on the way out.
