Meeting the royal family

Alex walked in, trying to look as confident as possible. He was a fresh ascendant and new to this world, but he had enough pride to try to show his good side.

Somewhere in the 1st Heaven seven different women had simultaneous shivering as if they realized that the dumbass who was already a yandere magnet without trying was trying to make himself look good.

Granted, Alex didn't know this fact and this was just the sixth sense every yandere possesses acting up.

Some people in the Ninth Heaven shivered as well.

Regardless, Alex tried to look good for his benefactors. The doors opened and he presented himself.

Alex bowed low.

"Greetings from the 1st Heaven, His Majesty. It is an honor to be here."

The king was pleased. He was a tall man with black and white hair and a noble aura. He looked like he was in his thirties, though he was older than that. Even if they had good talent, reaching mid King rank is no joke and took time for even the most talented person to achieve. He wore robes befitting his status, though no crown. Crowns were reserved for people who stood as kings in the Ninth Heaven. Wearing a crown while not truly being among the strongest was considered disgraceful.

Regardless, he had a kingly aura, with a smile that welcomed Alex and put his heart at ease. It didn't look like he would have any trouble with excessive arrogance here. At least not with the king.

By the king's side, sat the queen in a similar seat. They were both thrones, elegantly adorned, though the king's was slightly larger.

The queen was very pale, as pale as snow. She had white hair tinged with blue at the tips and frost blue eyes. She was dressed entirely in white and emitted a frosty, indifferent aura.

Alex turned his bow face her as well.

"Greetings Her Majesty. Thank you for welcoming me."

"Indeed."

Alex raised his head, his eyes meeting both the queen's for a brief moment before turning towards the king and the children that stood to the side.

Their were three of them, two boys and a girl, all with mostly white hair.

The boys were both in their young teens and looked to be twins, while the girl looked to be in her twenties.

"Thank you for having me Young Majesties"

"We're glad to have you."

The boys were dressed in suits, with swords to match. They moved in concert, observing him, though he could see admiration in their eyes. It wasn't everyday that someone ascended and it was considered quite the feat. Alex could tell that they had a high cultivation base for their age.

However... Alex was more interested in the girl. She looked exactly like her mother, but if her mother looked in her thirties she was a bit younger. They carried the same aura of indifference, but she was very strong. Alex was around her age, but they had similar cultivation. His was slightly higher and she would have access to much better spirit energy than what he and, however, it was very impressive to reach that level.

"So... Alex is it? How is the 1st Heaven?"
