*The 1st Heaven*
Currently, the 1st Heaven was going to shit. Recently, everything had been fine. Great, in fact.
Alex had made great strides to maintaining the peace of the Heaven. Unlike most of the strong people, he didn't support any particular race or kingdom. Normally, the kingdoms would each have powerhouses and one of them would be the strongest, thus creating an imbalance.
However, things had changed with Alex's arrival. He didn't support anyone particularly. The kingdoms still had their powerhouses, but they were are beneath the level of power of Alex, so it didn't matter.
Fortunately, Alex was also unbiased and helped resolve any issues so that they would not result in war. He had stopped the kidnapping of the best talent of the 1st Heaven, a pink haired princess, and destroyed the organization that was originally trying to frame various other races and kingdoms. He exposed their secrets and gained the trust of many through his actions.
Alex was first discovered by the elf queen, who many consider to be his foster mother. Since then, he shot up the ranks quietly. However, when asked to become a powerhouse for the elves and join them, he refused.
Alex was also known to have a very good relationship with various spirit beasts and humans. He was even rumored to get along with the few demons that also were scattered around the 1st Heaven as well. They didn't have a kingdom in the 1st Heaven, like they did in all the others, but unlike the dragons who simply didn't naturally exist in the 1st Heaven, there were a small group of demons that lived here and there.
Currently, however, the kingdoms were in an uproar. Signs of an ascension had showed up recently, and the only one that could have done that was Alex. Everybody had rushed over to the castle Alex was occupying in a panic, only to find the castle in ruins and a singular maid standing there, unmoving. When asked, she simply said,
'He's gone.'
This was enough for the kingdoms to call an emergency meeting. All beings who held sway in the 1st heaven, minus an elven queen, a human princess, and a particularly talented wolf, were currently meeting. Coincidentally, they were all male as any female members who had met Alex had vanished.
"What the f*ck do we do now? Alex is gone."
One of the human kings, who could afford to use that type of language in this situation, was freaking out. All of the representatives were, and only one was remaining calm.
The wolf king, Lepros, was currently sitting with his head in his hands. He was in human form, and he stood tall amongst the human kings and the elven representatives that had come in place of their queen.
"Not all is lost."
Lepros stood.
"We know that the cancer that was that organization has been wiped out. Alex made sure of it. Over recent years, I think we have established a balance of trust between us... and even if we didn't we have no powerhouses. Everybody is currently equal in strength so nobody would win if we fought. The wolf prodigy, the elven queen, and the human prodigy are all currently focused on ascension rather than going to war. While him ascending is certainly alarming, everybody strong is standing in this room..."
"So what you're saying is is that this is a fresh start."
"Indeed. Let's protect the trust that Alex instilled in each of us and raise new prodigies. I doubt any of our talents will turn their attention back to us. We all know of their... feelings."
Yes, the kings were aware of the feelings held by each of the strong people in this world. They actually only knew of the prodigies and the maid as being involved with Alex, not the other three and they did not know about the extent of the feelings, but it became evident after the attitudes of each of the women changed. The kings had already discussed getting their talents to ascend with Alex though that plan was out the window now.
"We should hope for the best I guess..."
Everybody in the room nodded, they would not interfere. Doing so would lead to their destruction, they had no doubt about at least that.
(For reference, they do not know of the existence of the angel, demon or spider.)
