Amnesia

*creak*

Suddenly, the door to Jim's hospital room opened and a middle-aged doctor wearing a robe with 'healing' written on it entered. Following his entry, Jim's parents together with his sister entered the hospital room.

"You are awake. Tell me, how are you feeling?", the doctor asked whiles walking toward Jim's bed.

" I am fine, anyway why am I here am not supposed to be in the elemental realm?!", asked Jim with confusion written all over his face.

"Wait, so you don't remember anything?", the doctor asked he was startled by what he said.

"What don't I remember?!" Jim asked.

"The only thing I remember is entering into the gate of elements. However, after the blinding light from the gate vanished I found myself in this hospital! Or is this the elemental realm?! Maybe this is just an illusion, I didn't think I would get this damn element!", Jim replied.

'So he doesn't remember! It seems that he saw something that was not to be seen in the elemental realm that's why he can remember anything!!', the doctor pondered.

" Hmmm. Jim this place is actually real and not an illusion as you said. In fact, you entered the gate of magic elements however due to some instances you forgot what happened there..", the doctor explained what happened to him.

"Oh, so that's how it is!", Jim exclaimed feigning understanding.

"You also got blue hair!", the doctor added.

'Huh?! Don't tell me that this is also real!!', Jim cried inwardly.

Seeing Jim's stunned expression, the doctor said,

" Anyway, you look more handsome with blue hair. Don't worry, I have also done a test and it shows that you obtained the lightning element!".

"The lightning element?! Oh my gosh, big brother is a genius", Brianna said in excitement? Her eyes were flickering with extreme happiness.

"Hmm. Lightning element? I see", Jim said as if he was endlessly shocked by the discovery.

"Jim, it seems that you are suffering from short term amnesia. I think that's the reason why you have forgotten what happened in the elemental realm. I have prescribed a medicinal plant from the snow lavender grass, I think your parents can easily obtain it, right?", speaking up to this point, the doctor turned to Jim's parents.

" Sure!", they replied.

"Okay, then get some rest. I will see you later!", the doctor replied and walked out of Jim's room.

At this point, Mrs Rose who had been quiet all this while walked up to him and said,

" You were lying to the doctor!"

"What?!"

Jim was greatly shocked. He didn't expect his mother to see right through his act. He even acted so well.

"Jim, you can't hide anything from us your parents! We gave birth to you. We were the ones who trained you. How can we not know you were lying to the doctor?!", Mr Benjamin said with a smile.

Jim was shocked once again. Not only was his mother able to see right through his act, but even his father also did!!

" Mom, Dad... I.. I..", hearing what they said he started to panic. He couldn't even speak well, he was even stuttering.

"Don't worry, we understand, we won't talk about it. You can decide not to tell us.", his mother said.

Hearing his mother's words Jim sighed in relief. He was very happy that he had a family that understood him.

" Hahaha!", however at this moment Brianna started to laugh.

"Why are you laughing?!", her mother asked.

" Hahaha! Mom, did you see big brother's face when you said he was lying?! It was so ridiculous. He looked like he had eaten a dead fly! Hahaha!", Brianna said whilst laughing.

"Yeah! He looked like that! Hahaha!", at this moment Jim's father also started to laugh heartily.

" Yeah! That's true", Mrs Rose joined in.

"Come on, don't tease me!", Jim said in embarrassment.

Currently, at lightsway hospital, in a specific room, three men were sitting in front of a doctor with uneasy expressions.

That doctor was the same doctor that looked after Jim.

"Mr John, how is he?!", one of the men asked the doctor.

"He is fine his condition has stabilised already.", Mr John replied.

*sigh*

"Great! That's great. What happened to him in the elemental realm?! Did he say anything?! One of the men asked.

" He is suffering from short term amnesia. He can't remember what happened. From my conclusions, he saw or did something that shouldn't have been done in the elemental realm. Therefore, after punishing him, the being erased his memories to prevent him from spreading it out!", the doctor explained.

"I see, it will most likely be true.", the man who asked the question replied.

"I also think so but what if the boy is lying?!", an old man in the middle of the two men asked.

" That won't be true! Even though Jim isn't for his intelligence or strength, he is trustworthy!", the middle-aged man on the right replied.

"Oh I see.", the old man replied.

" Olay, can you excuse me I have a new patient.", the doctor said.

As for these people currently in the doctor's office, they were naturally, Mr james~ Jim's teacher, Mr william~lightsway school headmaster and the city mayor!

As for their purpose, they came to ensure that Jim was alright and also know what happened to him in the elemental realm but as the saying goes, "come naked, go naked"

They came with nothing and they were also returning empty-handed with no information.
