Bai clicked his tongue dismissively but complied, reluctantly stepping aside. As he walked past Lay Ming, he purposely bumped his shoulder, a subtle but intentional gesture of defiance. The move caught Lay Ming off guard, and for a moment, the commotion in the restaurant hung in the air like static electricity.

Lai sighed in relief as Bai continued walking without looking back. She turned to Lay Ming, giving him a disapproving look.

"You really should learn some manners, Lay Ming," she shook her head, giving him a pitiful look, "This isn't the time or place for your petty rivalry."
