Worst Generation

The ten students in the lowest grade naturally became hot conversations among the first-year students. Ryo was no exception, who initially caught everyone's attention during the acceptance ceremony.

Ryo returned to his room with a gloomy face, and once again met Lucas. The noble was currently relaxed and lying on his bed opposite Ryo's bed, but raised his head when he saw Ryo step in.

"The sole heir of White Raven is in the Lowest Class possible? Hah! If everyone knows about your little secret, you'll be a laughing stock for the whole year," Lucas sneered.

"Just shut up!" Ryo exclaimed as he took off his shirt.

When Lucas looked at Ryo's face and saw that the young man was so annoyed, he decided it was priceless. Lucas couldn't stop laughing and giggling, so Ryo chose to put on his headphones to shut out the other guy's laughter. He listened to some songs and lay on his bed.

After some time, Lucas eventually stopped laughing and cleared his throat.

"Putting aside the matter of you being in the lowest class of all, I'm just wondering, how come?"

"Why are you asking? Do I have to tell you everything?"

"Right, you only talk about something when it only merits you," Lucas said, tilting his head.

"But the good thing about that is I don't have to mingle with a flock of nobles or princes, princesses, and young masters who wanna be all around me, so that's a plus!" quipped Ryo.

"Haha… talk all you want, real young master! So long and good night!" Lucas said as he turned off the night light beside the bed.

The next morning, Ryo woke up before his alarm went off. He quickly got up and prepared some simple eggs and bacon sandwiches for breakfast before he practiced.

Ryo immediately grabbed his training equipment and put on everything in a matter of minutes. He warmed up in the dorm yard, then started running and doing push-ups and sit-ups 100 times in the park where he used to train.

After that, Ryo sat down to practice his energy cultivation. And an idea flashed through his head.

"Hey, Kuryu. I want to try something," he said as he got up and loosened his hands.

[Oh? Interesting? What's your idea?]

Ryo smirked and started to coil his energy on his palm. Fire formed on his right hand, and Wind on his left.

"Just watch me, it will be a blast!"

A fireball started to form from his right hand, getting more prominent as he focused his mind. Then he condensed the huge fireball into a soccer ball size, becoming a very hot fireball.

In his left hand, a spinning ball of wind began to form. It caused a gale that picked up and blew away the dust and leaves that now flew around him.

Then he fused the two energies, and the rotation of the two balls of energy got even stronger. After the friction of the two energies was at its peak, Ryo took a stance and shot it towards the sky.

[Wait!]

Kuryu tried to stop the boy when he sensed someone was after Ryo. However, it was too late.

Boom!!!!!

The burst of energy crackled like thunder roaring and blasted Ryo as the recoil pushed him back. Enormous flames soared through the sky for a minute, which soon threw the people who happened to be around the park into panic.

Ryo smelled the scent of burning meat and tried to stand up. He realized that half of his arms had been torn off and burned when he opened his eyes.

"Shit! What happened? I'm sure my control is perfect!" Ryo grumbled as he held back the extraordinary pain.

[Your control was fine, but someone shot an energy bolt directly to interfere with your skill. I'm sorry, I couldn't detect that danger sooner]

"It's okay, I guess your senses are equally aligned with mine, so you couldn't feel that one, since my own sense is so dull," said Ryo as he tried to prop himself by the tree. "But who the fuck was that?"

[We can deal with that rat later. You need medical treatment for now, how are your feet? Can you walk?]

"Yeah, I'm good."

[Just get back for now and wrap your arm, I will use my power to heal you up!]

Ryo agreed and walked away staggered with blurred vision.

Elena, who was in her office doing some paperwork, heard the big explosion that came all the way from the park. The shockwave from the energy was incredibly strong enough that it spilled her morning tea on her papers which needed her attention. This was the work she puts aside due to her mission around the Earth.

She lost her temper after the spilled tea messed up the top-secret documents on her desk. These documents and files were something that she dealt with for hours and were something that can only be done by her manually.

Elena smacked her desk and rose up from the hot seat. "That must be Ryo!"

Sebastian came to her room after he heard the loud noises of a smacked desk.

"I presume you'll take care of the morning surprises from Young Master, Miss Elena?" asked Sebastian as he mopped the spilled tea.

"Yep! I'm gonna smack his head for real!" said Elena as she walked the hallway in a hurry.

Back at the park, Ryo was still in a state of pain as he slowly walked and tried to find the infirmary. Unfortunately, Ryo's vision was still blurred, and his ear was still in shock after the explosion. Right now, all he could hear was a loud ringing noise. Not too far from him, he sawa figure approaching him at a running pace.

"Ryo! What happened?!" Elena exclaimed as she caught hold of Ryo's staggered body. The intention of smacking his head disappeared at the state of him.

"Elena?!" Ryo said as Elena's face slowly cleared in his sight. He immediately pulled up to his feet and straightened up. He smiled a little. "I'm just figuring out my new skill, hehe."

"Seriously! If you control it the wrong way, your body will be scorched!"

Elena clicked her tongue. She looked so annoyed that she immediately pulled Ryo's hands to check on them. Her frustration peaked when she saw Ryo's skin with second-degree burns.

"Medical Bay! Right now!" Elena snapped, pointing at the mansion.

The two of them made their way there and soon Elena set to work to help him.

Ryo held back a wince as he tried to ignore the pain in his hand. Elena gave first aid using a Regenerator Pod, it was the most advanced medical device that could rearrange the body's cell tissue to the nano level.

90% of Ryo's skin returned to normal in just thirty minutes. Ryo grimaced, holding back the pain in his shoulder as he wrapped the bandage.

As Elena saw Ryo having a hard time putting bandages while he was on the bed, Elena lost her patience and couldn't bear to see him struggle.

"Just let me," she said, pulling the messy bandage off him and redoing it.

Ryo blinked as a very familiar feeling awoke within him as Elena wrapped the bandage. A little fragment of memory appeared in his mind.

It was his own tiny hands being wrapped in bandages by the hands of a snow-white haired girl.

"Okay, with this, you can recover tomorrow, as long as you don't do stupid things like this again," said Elena while tightening the bandage.

The hazy and blurry image of the past vanished as Elena tightened the bandage, making him wince in pain. Elena then checked Ryo's eyes and ears for any damage.

"How's your vision and hearing?" she asked.

"Everything is good, I guess?"

Elena breathed a sigh of relief when she heard everything was fine.

Smack!

Finally, Elena gave him a single loud smack into his head, now that she was sure that Ryo gained back his vision and hearing completely.

"Owww! What was that for?!" Ryo said as he rubbed his head.

"For your moronic action and for spilling my precious morning tea. Thank you for your ridiculous tryout!"

"Okay, okay... That's on me," Ryo replied as he rubbed his arm. It was incredible that he almost lost it earlier, but now it was fully healed.

"What happened, exactly?!" asked Elena.

"I don't know for sure, but someone is messing with me, for real."

Elena chuckled when she heard that and put the medical tools she used back into place.

"The game is on! You better be prepared for the next round!"
