The One Snap Boy

While Marcus and Roxy searched for any other signs of the water beasts, Tess and Roxy took the opportunity to go to the baths with spare clothes and a promise from Trevor that their clothes would be cleaned by the time they were ready to leave.

Marcus and Roxy searched the entirety of the area around the village. They started with the river, crossing over the bridge and travelling upstream on the other side. When they had travelled a sufficient distance from the village, they went back on themselves and checked the area downstream. Instead of following the river like they did upstream, they instead walked closer to the road, taking time to occasionally approach the waterfront and visually check for the presence of the beasts.

Their search led them far away from the village, right up to the border of a thick, wooded area on the other side of the road. However, there was no sign of the beasts they had seen upstream. In fact, there were no signs of beasts at all.
