- Fire and the Sun

"The sun?" Marcus asked.

The priest put the book back and led them back to the main room, explaining it to them as they walked.

It was common knowledge to the people that the idea of two elements, Sun and Moon, existed. However, the idea was all that was known. Almost no one knew what Sun magic would entail, or what its properties were, and the same for Moon magic.

Among the few who did know were the high priests of the Temple of Flame. In truth, Sun magic was little more than an intense version of Fire magic. Its only caveat was that Sun magic required the presence of both Fire and Air elements to manifest itself, since such immense fiery power needed mastery over the surrounding air to control.

Due to its power, it was also immensely dangerous. Where Fire magic could be used in a variety of ways, both offensively and defensively, as well as for utility, Sun magic was purely aggressive and destructive.
