Conquering the Mystic Realm Part 16

"But, Mother! This little bitch is clearly disrespecting you!" Elija retorted as he clenched his fist tightly as he simply couldn't believe that his Mother was actually trying to defend this little girl. Even though he knows it already, he still can't accept the fact that Alvitr is still the most loved by their Mother despite what happened.

But it wasn't just him who was feeling like this, everyone was looking at Alvitr and Elisa with clear jealousy in their eyes as even after what Alvitr did, she was still the favorite of their parents, and they just couldn't believe it because she was the one who brought down the Strasser Family because of what she did.

But of course, they also know the reason for that, Alvitr their eldest sister has brought so much for the Strasser Family and everyone knows this, and because of this, they are even more envious of her as everyone basically sees her as the Golden Child of the Strasser Family, even the Emperor sees her like that which just cemented that title of her.

In the past when Alvitr wasn't born yet, the Strasser Family was considered one of the weaker Duke Families in the Empire to the point where some Baron Family actually had much more influence on money compared to the Strasser Family. But after Alvitr was born and grew up, all of that shifted. They went from being one of the weakest Nobles in the Kingdom to becoming one of the most powerful and influential where their powers could even Rival the Emperor, and this was all thanks to what Alvitr did to the Family.

"I think you're forgetting that all of the things that you have right now are all because of your elder sister and now you are questioning me about what I'm doing? Are you retarded? I didn't remember raising anyone of you to become like that, so answer me, Elijah! Are you retarded? Because if you are, you can pack your things and leave right now!" Anneliese yelled as she looked over at Elija with her cold eyes making him shiver in fear as he just shook his head and decided to forget what just happened. But before he left the room, he didn't forget to glare at Alvitr as well as at Elisa before finally leaving.

"This brat… He's only the second oldest yet it seems like he is the youngest because of what he is showing to me… I apologize for that, little Elisa. Please forgive my son, he can be just stupid sometimes." Anneliese said as she softened her voice as she sat next to Elisa and gently tucked her hair behind her ears as she looked at her with gentle and caring eyes.

"It seems that what Alvitr said is really true… You really know about the history, but yes I was the one who ultimately made that decision because at that time I thought it would be the same, but after just one week I already regretted that. But by that time it was already too late for me to take it back." Anneliese said with a guilty look on her face but when Elisa saw this, she just snickered inside even though she could feel that Anneliese was being sincere with her words.

But at this point, Elisa didn't care about it because she was petty. In her mind, there are simply too many ways for them to avoid it and yet they still decided to strip her Mother of her title despite everything she had done to the Family. That is why Elisa doesn't simply forgive them because in her mind she only thinks that Wagner and Anneliese regret it because after what happened.

Alvitr was the backbone of the Strasser Family and she was the only reason why other people even wanted to make deals with the Family, so when she got kicked out, it was inevitable that everyone would also leave them since Alvitr wasn't no longer part of the family.

So she just remained quiet and still acted as if she was scared and only hid in her Mother's body as she didn't want to interact with any of them anymore. When Anneliese saw this, she simply sighed because she could still see that the little girl was still shaken because of what just happened right now.

"Again… I'm sorry for what has happened, but don't worry I'll make my son apologize to you." After saying those words, she placed her hand on top of Elisa's head to give her a gentle pat before finally leaving alongside the rest of the family leaving Alvitr some much-needed alone time with her daughter.

"Elisa… why did you have to say that? She's still your grandmother, you know?" Alvitr asked as she sat on the bed with her daughter beside her, but her tone didn't contain any guilt or anger as she just really wanted to know the reason why she asked that.

"I just want to protect you, Mommy. I know what this Family has done to you because I have been reading a lot about it recently, and I promise you that I will protect you, so that is what I'm going to do!' Elisa said as she even clenched her two fists tightly as if she really meant every word.

When Alvitr saw this, her heart couldn't help but feel all puffy and warm as she pulled her for a warm hug and she felt extremely happy and even proud at this moment. Her daughter only 5 years old is making such a bold claim that she will take care and even protect her.

"Oh, really? Then how are you going to do that?" Alvitr asked though the real reason that she asked this was because she wanted Elisa to be honest with her about her Magic, she knew what she saw yesterday, and she was confident that the Magic that saved her came from Elisa. But she doesn't want to confront her with it directly, she wants Elisa to open it up herself. But Elisa knew this already as soon as she saw the expectant eyes of her Mother as she looked at her, so she merely chuckled inside as she decided to be honest.

"Please don't be mad at me Mommy for keeping it a secret… But I can actually use Magic like those Magicians, see?" Elisa said in a guilty but excited tone as she opened her palm and made a snowball out of thin air using her Magic.

"I see... Well, I already knew that because you were the one who saved me when we were surrounded by a bunch of Monsters right, Elisa? But how long exactly have you had this Magic?" Alvitr asked as she looked at her daughter with a gentle smile on her face she didn't blame her for what she did because she knew that there must be a reason for her hiding it.

"I... I knew it when I accidentally read a Book about Magic, there was a chant there and I was acting as if I was a Magician and accidentally chanted something... Please don't be mad at me, Mommy..."
