Chapter 28 :Say hello to the mage

Aetius is now walking toward the north. It has been more than 2 hours since he is walking towards the north but he still didn't see any sign of human settlements.

How far these 2 fvking monster dragged me? I hope it is not too far away. But if it is really is very distant away, than i am in very sous trouble.

This mountainous area is full of wild animals. During day time the mostly sleep and stay inactive.

But as soon as night falls, these nocturnal animals starts to get busy hunting for food.

I must reach at least reach a small village before dawn. Or i have to spend the night with these wild animals!

Thinking this i started to walk faster. I am very hungry and also feeling a lot of sleepy . So i speed up to reach a human settlements before it gets dark .

Soon i saw a lot of people with huge draconic beasts powered carriages.

Caravans! It is also a very big one!

Aetius go up in a nearby mountain to take a clear look.

Wow this caravan is a massive one. There are at least 100 gigantic carriages full of goods !From a little far, it looks like a huge snake is slowly moving towards north direction!

I am lucky to meet them. Even if they don't let me temporarily join them, i can stay close to them to avoid wild monster attack durning night!

I started to walk quickly and soon came close to the caravan.

A few guarding mercenary noticed me and one of them came close to me.

"Key kid, whatcha doin in these mountains? why you lookss like a poor thief beaten by a group of mobs? "saying so he and his fellow mercenaries started to laugh out loud .

Ignoring their jokes i asked them,

" How far is the colos city from here?"

"Colos city, he dough you know where this colos is? I think hear about this city somewhere.Where did i hear? "

Another mercenary said,

"You idiot old fool, our destination is colos city, did you forgot?"

They started to laugh again among themselves.

A mercenary asked a caravan attendant something then came close to me and said,

"Its close, just 12 kilometers away. Are you from there?"

So near! it only will take an hour or 2 if i walk faster! It is only 9 or 10 am now. So there is no need to go with these caravan guys.

I simply nodded, thanked them and started to walk faster to the colos city's direction.

Let's reach colos city quickly and have something to eat and go to sleep!

When i was quickly leaving behind the caravan, i heard someone said loudly,

"Hey, you kid there stop! "

I stopped there and looked behind. I didn't received any dangerous premonitions so i didn't panicked but i still remain a little cautious.

I saw a blue robe men with 2 swords both side of his waist and seemingly a great broadsword in behind his back, came to me in his red horse.

I saw hulu merchants batch and a nameplate in his robe.

"Kid, what are you doing alone in these mountains and how did you get injured? "

He pointed his finger at my bloody shirt and asked me?

What is this situation? he is a rank two mage. I don't know which path he is from or about his skills. So i better not make up a bad story.And also i have not received any bad feeling even after he is close to 1 meter from me. So has no malicious intentions.

I give a respectful vow and said,

"Lord mage, I was kidnapped yesterday at dawn by 2 magic beasts women just outside of the colos city. Yesterday night, they suddenly started to fight with each other. I took this opportunity to trick them and ran away. I am now going back to my hometown."

After saying these half truth, half lies i stared at the mage. I hope he will not punish me to lying to him!

After giving a nearby servant the order he started to patrol the caravan.

The attended brought me on a moving caravan led me inside. From outside it looks like a gigantic carriages but inside it looks way bigger than the outside!

I was standing outside and watching various clothes inside the carriages. Soon the servant brought a luxurious shirt and pants and said me to go to a small room change.

After changing , i came out and asked how much money will these clothes costs.

He said that magus give me free chance to choose clothes from here, so i won't need to pay. If i am not satisfied then he will show me another set. I was satisfied with these clothes so i declined him.

These clothes are really expensive. In colos market, it will coat at least 100 gold coins.

I gave a servant 1 bronze coin as tip and got out of the caravan. Outside i didn't see the mage but i will always remember his kindness.

Lets quickly go to the city and book a room in a hotel baths.Then after a meal i will sleep peacefully.

From now on, i will in the cities best hotel and only go to school 2 days a week! I don't wanna my baths and toilets interrupted by anyone, not anymore. Because i am now rich!!!!!!
