Revelations

Amelia couldn't sleep day or night. The baby kept crying, and she felt overwhelmed taking care of her. Three days later, Enock was yet to appear.

'What if karma is paying me back by making Enock ghost on me? 'She would ask herself.

She waited and waited, and when she could no longer wait, she decided on the next course of action—something she had done before.

That night, she washed the baby and breastfed her, and placed her on her bed. Besides the baby on the bed, she placed the baby's clothes. She waited until the baby had fallen asleep, then went to her room and packed up her things.

"Take care of her," she wrote a note which she placed in the bag with the baby's clothes.

She sneaked out of her house in the middle of the night. When the baby woke up, it cried and cried, and the neighbors wondered where the mom was.
