Hands and Feet

Pain. That's what Frank felt when he first woke up in a strange room. How was he to express the pain, and to whom? He looked around the room but couldn't see mummy. In fact, no one else was in the room.

He thought he could cry. Wasn't that how he communicated with mummy and she understood? He could cry, and mommy would appear and make the pain he was feeling go away. He started crying, slowly at first and then loud enough to wake the dead.

He heard footsteps approaching and sniffled his cries, but upon seeing who was before him and not recognizing her, he continued crying. The woman approached the bed, walked up to Frank, put her right index finger on her mouth, and said, "Sshh."

However, Frank wouldn't stop crying, so the woman took him into her arms and walked with him around the room, asking him to be quiet.
