It Comes Full Circle

Just like that, everyone left. Mercy remained in her office, crying her heart out. 

How was she to explain that she had really gone to the children's home to take care of the kids there and atone for her past mistakes? 

Who would believe her? 

Mercy felt pathetic. However, she knew that even if she complained and defended herself, nobody would listen to her.

The more she thought of that, the more she felt so bad. 

At that moment, she felt so lost that she knew would continue crying all night. 

Angie was in her bedroom. The room was so neat that it wasn't hard to notice that she had kept one side of the room to herself. 

 If Carey had noticed that, he hadn't mentioned a thing, and Angie didn't know whether or not she should have been relieved by that.
