Still Waters Run Deep

"Uh…and when will that happen?" One board member asked Evans who could swear that he felt urine dripping down his pants.

He looked down and saw that he was okay and inwardly breathed out a sigh of relief.

"Uh… just give me a little more time. I'm getting everything in order, and I'll take care of that. Please," Evans pleaded.

He was so humble that he looked like someone who couldn't harm a fly, and he managed to garner the sympathy of the board.

"Okay," Evans was told, and he looked up in shock, thinking that his ears were playing jokes on him.

"Okay?" He asked in a voice that was both surprised and full of joy.

His gaze moved from one board member to another, and he saw that they were all nodding, and he whispered a short prayer, thanking his guardian angel for overworking.

As he stepped out of the boardroom, he felt a big desire to rush to the washrooms, but when he reached there, he couldn't relieve himself.
