Leon had a sleepless night as the roosters began to crow as well as the chirping of the birds were heard. "Damn, it's already morning, huh?" the fifteen year old Umbra Knight thought to himself. "Still, me and Damian passed the Umbra Knight's selection rites. We are one step closer towards vengeance, mother." Leon whispered to himself.
"Wakey wakey!" Kanon Sokolov burst through the front door while wearing a grin on his face. "Oh, I thought you were still asleep." He added as soon as he saw Leon stare blankly into space on his bed.
"Yeah, I am getting up now." Leon exited the room with a sense of determination on his face and with the grumbling of his stomach. "I heard that. Heh." Kanon chuckled.
They made their way to a remote town far away from Solstice, it was said to be a town covered by the leaves and woods that surrounded it, much like Leon and Damian's home. But it was farther, much farther than they had expected.
"Did you get a good night's sleep, Kyro?" Damian asked Kyro, to see how well he is fitting in to Kanon's home. "Y-Yeah. I guess. There is always a constant abundance of books, so I have no issues with it, really." The tall Umbra Knight said.
Leon was holding his stomach with his left hand while holding the black wand with the other, they made him walk side by side Reno just in case he acted up because of his blood as a Lunaseeker.
"Come on, isn't this way too much?" Leon joked. "Besides, can you really stop me if I lash out because of my hunger?" He turned his head towards Reno's direction and asked. Reno did not mind his question for even a second and simply nodded.
"Why aren't you talking?" Leon asked him even further. Reno took out a piece of paper in his pocket and wrote something down. It read as: "That is because I cannot speak, I am mute." Reno said with a smile.
Suddenly, Leon felt bad for asking such an insensitive question. "Nice one, jackass." Kyro said as he shook his head. "I thought you already knew that, Leon…" Damian worriedly said.
Reno signaled them to ease it up with his sign language, he wrote another thing down. "It is quite alright, sometimes most people just think of me as a shy person. Too shy to speak." He wrote.
