Not a Rest

Reno handed out a piece of paper to Kyro Shin. Kyro proceeded to read it, it was a debriefing for their mission. "Hm. This is quite the peculiar and disgusting case." Kyro said as he placed his hand on his chin.

"Why?" Leon asked.

"In the town of Mino, the villagers have been silent in this town for quite some time now, but due to it being so far out and remote, nobody really paid it any mind. After not hearing from them at all in weeks, they started to send out the town of Mino's primary exported goods once again, meat." Damian had to stop for a second before continuing as he gagged as soon as his eyes scanned the words. "The meat had then turned out to be that of a human's…" the boy turned pale as he said it.

Leon clenched his fist in anger. "Why would they even do that?! Who would do something as demented as that!?" the half Lunaseeker half human boy got enraged.

"I believe that this is just something they thought would be 'fun', or as a means to provoke us. They know that we know of their resurgence." Kyro added.

After an hour of walking towards the remote town of Mino, Reno asked them to stop somewhere, the mountainous slopes was very hard to traverse in, so their proceeded carefully.

"Where are we going, Reno?" Leon asked, but his question was met with Reno's silence. "You'll see soon enough, Leon." Reno wrote in a piece of paper.

They stopped by a slope, the three were confused at Reno's decision to take a break here. "This seems to be a dangerous place to rest up, isn't it?" Kyro said in a smartass manner.

Reno shook his head and chuckled a bit. He lifted his black ring which had the insignia of the Umbra Knights, a moon being pierced by countless swords.

Suddenly, a wall appeared out of the mountains and opened up like a door.
