TROUBLE DAY

"Didn't we meet yesterday? Are you still angry about the punishment I gave you, huh? I apologized too, didn't I?" Sean tried to explain.

'What the hell is he? Why is his attitude so excessive?' Gita grumbled in her heart.

"Senior, let me explain to you! First, our introduction yesterday doesn't mean we have to be close to each other. Second, the one-lap penalty around the court is not a problem for me. I consider it part of the sport and you don't need to apologize to me," replied Gita firmly.

"Is that clear, Senior? I hope you can understand and don't over-simplify this. I want to come in!" said Gita immediately left.

"Oh my God, it's so hard to get close to her. Gita makes me even more curious!" Sean muttered, "Come on, Sean. Keep trying if you want to be close to Gita and not lose to the man who is always beside her! Surely you can get Gita's heart later. Don't worry!" Sean muttered quietly to himself as he watched Gita walk away.

His pride refuses to accept Gita's rejection. It's been two years and now in his third year, Sean is always being chased by female students in his class, even his junior and seniors. Sean became the most popular boy in the school.

Apart from being handsome and cool, Sean's family background is also fairly rich. Sean is the only son of the number one person in the Medan city government. Not surprisingly, many women queued up to be his girlfriend, and that too if Sean wanted to.

And unfortunately, Sean, the prince of the school, actually puts his heart on Gita, a girl who has become someone else's fiancé.

Sean's curiosity peaked every time he looked at Gita from far or near. Like this time.

In the school canteen, there were three familiar girls. Gita, Dian, and Anita were already sitting there. Seeing that Gita was there, Sean rushed over to her, and at the same time, Adimas also walked in the same direction.

"Why do I have to see you again?" Sean squeaked annoyed at Adimas.

"I want to go to the canteen with Gita, Bro! Why are you even annoyed?" Adimas reversed his annoyance.

"Can't you just stay away or just keep your distance from Gita?" Sean asked.

"Sorry, I cannot!" Adimas replied nonchalantly and turned his face away from Sean to face Gita.

"Gita!" Sean and Adimas called at the same time which made Gita and her two friends turn to the source of the voice.

"Oh my, what's this, my God?" Gita muttered while patting her forehead when she saw Sean and Adimas approaching them.

"Bro Sean! Do you remember me? Yesterday you told me the ties in my hair if I add one more it will be one dozen, hahaha!" said Anita in a spoiled fashion.

"Ouch, what's wrong, Dian? It hurts, you know?" Anita screamed in surprise when Dian stepped on her shoes.

"Hmm, I don't think I remember you, you know there were a lot of people at that time. So sorry, huh..." Sean answered while scratching the nape of his neck which didn't itch.

Meanwhile, Adimas took his eyes off Sean and Anita who were talking. Adimas turned to Gita who looked lazy and threw a blank look at the glass in her hand.

"Gita, want to come home with me again?" invite Adimas to the Gita.

"No need, I'll just take public transportation. I want to go to my father's office later!" Gita replied nonchalantly while chewing fried bananas in front of her.

"I took you there, didn't I Gita?" asked Sean interrupting.

"Just be with me, Gita!" cut Adimas again.

"I'm sorry, you gentlemen! It's useless for you to persuade Gita. If she said no, that means no. I was right, wasn't I, Gita?" said Dian between the two men's debate.

"You're the best, Dian!" Gita replied smiling while winking at Dian.

"You are Adimas, aren't you? Don't you know that Gita already has a boyfriend? Haven't you two known each other since elementary school, do you not know anything about this?" asked Dian towards Adimas.

"Only lovers and not yet husbands, are still allowed to be snatched again! Besides, Gita's boyfriend is not always there for her. I still have many opportunities to take Gita!" Adimas replied that he didn't care about Dian's pressure.

"With your current attitude, from the start, I don't want us to be close, Adimas! You broke our deal. Didn't I tell you, we're better off just being friends than dating?" Gita is annoyed with Adimas.

"You can't stop other people from falling in love with anyone, Gita. And liking you right now is mine. You can't forbid my rights!" said Adimas firmly.

"I agree!" Sean joined in.

"Why did you go along too, Senior?" Adimas protested who did not accept his words, followed by Sean.

"You're the one who said that the right to like someone can't be denied by anyone, right? I am also like that. I like Gita, so you can't stop me either!" Sean answered with a bold smile.

The debate between the two men bored Gita and her two friends so that the girl left Sean and Adimas without both of them realizing it.

***

After school, the beautiful girl, Gita, walked leisurely on the paved road. Above her head, there are big trees that cover the hot sun, which is on either side of the road to the office where Gita's father works.

Gita walked away after getting off the public transportation which stopped her on the side of the road to the office area where Mr. Hasan worked. The road is quiet because it is not a public road that can be passed by various types of vehicles. Only vehicles of employees and staff are allowed to enter the area.

At the crossroads before the big gate of the office area, two young men in high school uniforms were sitting leaning under a tree while smoking cigarettes. From the school's attributes on the sleeves of their uniforms, Gita made sure they weren't from the same school as her.

"Assalamu'alaikum, beautiful!" said one of the young men. However, the Gita did not budge.

"It's a sin not to answer someone's greeting, isn't it?" said the other young man.

"Wa'alaikumsalam!" Gita answered in a low voice. Ignoring them, Gita continued to walk past the two young men.

"Why do beautiful people always act arrogantly?" commented one of the youths who saw Gita ignored them.

"That's just the outward appearance, bro! In her heart, she likes it when we tease her. Do you know what a hypocritical woman is like? Like her, for example, hahaha!" The other young man's sneer sounded a little louder than made Gita stop walking.

Gita turned to look at them without moving from her place. Seeing Gita's response, one of the young men approached to grab her hand. But Gita quickly dodged.

"Your beauty will be lost if you are so fierce!" said the young man while touching Gita's chin. Suddenly, Gita widened her eyes because her anger was already at the crown of her head.

"You guys are wearing student uniforms, but your attitude is like street delinquents!" Gita said angrily, "It's a pity that your parents pay for your school because they have a son like this!"

"Wow, your lips are sharp too, huh! Do they taste so good when I kiss them?" said the young man trying to touch Gita again. But unfortunately, before touching Gita's face, the young man's hand was caught and twisted by Gita behind his body.

"Ah!" cried the young man in pain.

“I was right, weren't I? It's a pity for your parents who worked so hard but the children they hoped would be useful in the future, have become the scum of society like this!" Gita spoke angrily again.

Unable to accept being insulted by women who were even on par with their juniors, the young man threw his other hand behind his back to elbow Gita.

Unable to understand, Gita immediately grabbed the other hand and then twisted it like the one next to it. A moment later, Gita pushed the young man's back hard with her feet, until the young man fell kissing the asphalt road.

"What's it like kissing asphalt, huh?" Gita sneered, clapping her hands like she was just cleaning the dust.

Seeing his friend in pain because he fell to the asphalt, another young man who was still sitting under the tree immediately got up and tried to attack Gita.

But unfortunately, before going forward to launch his punch, his stomach had already received a kick from the soles of Gita's shoes, which made him fall to the asphalt beside his friend.

"It turns out that her arrogance is because she is good at fighting, Bro! Let's teach her a lesson together!" said the young man who had just fallen to his friend who also agreed.

When they were about to attack simultaneously, another young man's voice came from behind the Gita.

"You guys or girls are made up, huh? How dare you go up against a girl and gang up on her!" The young man mocked those who wanted to gang up on Gita.

Gita who was ready and about to turn her head when she heard a familiar voice in her ear, "Zaki?" she says.
