ZAKI’S BACK

Gita, who was careless when he saw Zaki, was almost hit by the hand of a young man who took the opportunity to hit him, before getting a kick from Zaki who had already run first.

Gita was quite surprised, but she quickly dodged and hit the other boy who wanted to attack him too. Once again, the two youths fell.

From the direction of the office area, a security guard appeared at the gate. Maybe because they saw CCTV on the surveillance monitor, the security rushed to the place where Gita and Zaki were.

Feeling they would not win and would be in trouble if they were caught, the two young men went with their motorbikes which were parked under the tree earlier.

"You're all right, aren't you?" asked security to Gita.

"I'm fine, sir! My friend has also come and helped me!" replied Gita casually.

"What's the need for you to come here? Let me help," asked the security again.

"I am the daughter of Mr. Hasan in the PR department. I want to meet my father, sir!" Gita replied again.

"Oh, come on, just go inside! Do you want to ride my motorbike or just go with your boyfriend?" asked the security officer while directing his eyes to Zaki.

"She with me, sir! I also want to go inside looking for Mr. Burhan. I want to deliver something from my father for him. Please just walk first, later we will follow you from behind," said Zaki.

After the security guard left, Gita agreed to go with Zaki to the main office gate.

“Thank you, Zaki. You helped me earlier!" said Gita without further ado.

"You haven't changed at all, have you? You prefer to deal with people like that. Even if you ignore them, it won't be a problem like this. Aren't you satisfied if you had to ignore them?" Zaki scolded who was surprised by the nature of Gita who likes to fuss.

"I already ignored them before they touched me. Public trash like them wants to touch me continuously, of course, I won't accept that!" Gita replied no less nagging.

"Oh, no wonder the tigress has a tantrum, hahaha!" sneered Zaki while laughing.

Arriving at the information center, Zaki met the person he wanted to visit. Then, Zaki followed Gita to meet Mr. Hasan.

Gita invites Zaki to meet his father and tell him about the incident and the current friendship between the two of them.

They chatted and chatted for a while, Mr. Hasan noticed Zaki's gaze on his daughter. He is sure, Zaki likes Gita. However, he didn't want to rashly advise other people's children to keep their distance from their engaged daughter.

Mr. Hasan is grateful for Zaki's help in helping his son and allows Zaki to leave them because Gita will only go home with his father.

"Gita, Zaki likes you, doesn't he?" asked Mr. Hasan to Gita who only answered with a nod of his head. Gita is lazy to talk about it.

“From Junior High School?" asked the father again.

"Yes, Father. What I told you before was that there were parents who didn't like me and after that, they complained about stupid things to our homeroom teacher," Gita answered.

Mr. Hasan understood and did not ask again because he did not want his daughter to remember such sad things again.

"That's it. Let's ignore the matter about that. By the way, what are you looking for Daddy? Come here and meet that brat! If you want to talk about something, can't we talk about it on the phone or at home?" asked Mr. Hasan again.

"It's nothing, Dad. The reason I came here was only to avoid a male friend who was scrambling to take me home. Unexpectedly, I met Zaki here. Life is very complicated, isn't it?" Gita replied while letting out a long breath.

"I'm glad you were able to keep the bond of your engagement with Barra even though you were far apart. You're also not easily tempted by other men and you're not an embarrassment to our family!"

"You have to be patient, Gita. A male friend who likes you is also a test for you from Allah. May Allah always protect you, dear!" the father prayed while stroking his daughter's head.

'Prove it to those who have underestimated your behavior, Gita! I believe in my daughter,' continued Mr. Hasan muttering in his heart as he looked at his daughter.

In Malaysia, Barra is busy with machining reports piled up on his desk. He seemed to be diligent in working and reading every sheet of his work until Barra forgot that break time was almost up.

"Barra, you're not going out to rest? Aren't you hungry and tired? Let's go to the cafeteria, please accompany me to eat!" asked a beautiful woman who looked charming in a lacy pink shirt and a black skirt that only went above the knee. And make her ass stand out very prominently.

"Never mind, you go first, Mery. I still have a lot of work to do. Besides, I just drank coffee," Barra replied without turning to his female colleague named Mery.

"Okay, looks like you really can't be bothered at this point. Please continue your work!" Mery said a bit annoyed at getting Barra's rejection again.

Mery was surprised by Barra who was very resistant to the temptation of her appearance which was quite sexy every time she approached Barra.

Meanwhile, other male co-workers are always scrambling to be close to Mery.

'Watch out for you, Barra. I won't let you off that easily. Soon, you won't be able to run from me!' said Mery in her heart.

Saturday night was accompanied by torrential downpours punctuated by the sound of thunder blaring above the tall buildings of downtown.

That night Barra returned to work late. Should have gone home midday, but he chose to finish the reports that were still piling up. Barra always tries to be responsible in his work.

Outside his room, Mery came to bring a cup of hot coffee for Barra. As Barra's assistant, Mery chooses to wait for Barra because she is bored when she comes home too early.

"Coffee for you, Barra! Is your job still long?" Mery said while handing her the coffee she was carrying.

Barra turned his gaze to the coffee, then to the figure of Mery sitting on the sofa in his living room, "Thank you, Mery. I need coffee to reduce my sleepiness. You just go home, and be careful on the road!" said Barra.

"It's very quiet at home, Barra. I don't know what to do when I get home early. I don't have any friends at home. I'd rather wait for the handsome man in front of me right now. Who knew you might be tempted by me?" said Mery coquettishly while winking one eye for Barra.

"Don't bother me, Mery. You will be disappointed! Just find another man who is better than me!" Barra said without looking at Mery's face and kept hid focus on the sheet of paper.

"What am I lacking, Barra? Why don't you ever glance at me? Am I not beautiful enough? Am I not smart enough in your eyes?" asked Mery pitifully.

Barra lifted his face and looked at Mery who had started to cry.

"Maybe to other men you are perfect, Mery. You are already beautiful, smart, and have a good career at such a young age," said Barra seriously.

"But, I can't praise other women. Mery, I've become the future husband of the woman I love!" Barra continued, showing the ring on his finger.

"You're lying, Barra. I've never seen you close with other women, not even me! And the gossip that's spread in this office is that you don't like women! Please, Barra, don't turn me down with lies!" said Mery sadly.

"I don't like women other than my fiancé. That's the reason. And sorry, Mery, I only think of you as a friend, nothing more!" Barra replied as she took a sip of the coffee Mery brought earlier.

Mery smiled triumphantly seeing Barra drinking coffee from her. Feeling her plan worked, then Mery admitted to giving up chasing Barra.

"Okay, Barra. I accept that you can't like me, the important thing is that we're still friends. I just want to go home, Barra. I'm afraid it's getting late, the rain will get heavier, and there's no point in me accompanying you here!" said Mery with a smile seeing the look on Barra's face that was starting to get angry.

Barra didn't answer. His vision seemed to be blurry with an attack of pain in his head.

"What are you doing, Barra? Are you sick? Yes, you have. You just go home, okay? You are too tired, Barra!" asked Mery sympathetically.

"I don't know what happened to me, Mery! Suddenly my head hurts, then my body feels very uncomfortable right now!" Barra said while massaging his forehead and rubbing the back of his neck, which was shaking uncontrollably.

"Yeah, well, just go home, Barra!" asked Mery while touching Barra's hand which made Barra gasp in surprise.

That's because when in contact with Mery, Barra felt a tingling sensation like a small electric shock on his skin.

"Please Mery, don't touch me, I can walk alone!" Barra objected refusing Mery's help. But, just as he was about to stand up, Barra was staggering and faint!
