LIAM'S POV

I stayed hidden in my private chamber for a while in thought. I ended up making a decision to confront Helen. Whatever she tells me is what I would believe and wouldn't think twice before punishing the strange guy if he pulled another of his silly jokes on me.

"Hey," Helen said to me as I got into the room she was in. Her parents were seated beside her. It looked like family time and I didn't mean to intrude.

"Greetings my Alpha,"

Helen's parents greeted me while I bowed in respect to them. Even as the Alpha, I still respected when necessary.

"I guess I should come back. This looks like family time," I said and was about to turn back when Helen stopped me.

"Babe, come meet my parents!" She said excitedly.

I paused for a while as what the strange guy said rushed into my head. I had the greatest urge to ask her that minute but restrained myself.

I forced a smile and went to them. Helen introduced them to me. I made sure to wear my best fake smile while I greeted and shook hands with them.

I could see the surprise in Helen's father's face when Helen mentioned that we were in a relationship but he swallowed his words while Helen's mother laughed nervously.

I smelled something fishy but I couldn't put my fingers on it.

Helene's parents left some minutes later leaving only Helen and I in the room. I watched Helen's reaction as I prepared to throw the question at her.

"Helen," I called quietly.

"Yea babe…" Helen answered, pouting.

Gosh, why was she pouting and making such faces when I was about to discuss something serious with her. I didn't mean to deviate from my main question but I felt myself softening at the cute faces she was making.

"Babe… Can I hold you?" Helen asked, adjusting her position on the bed and coming closer to me.

"Errr…" I stuttered looking for words which seems to have left me.

Before I realized what was happening, Helen leaned closer to me brushing herself slightly against my face. I could perceive her scent and it was seriously turning me on against my will.

"I didn't believe I could ever love until I met you," she whispered into my ears romantically, causing my body to shiver at the hot air coming out from her mouth.

"Do you love me?" She added now starting to rub her hand on my chest, making imaginary lines on my chest with her lips pouted and tempting to kiss.

Gosh, I was going to ask her a serious question and here I was succumbing to her touches.

Her face was so close to mine as she looked right into my eyes waiting for me to confirm that I love her.

I couldn't stop nor hold myself anymore as I closed the distance between us taking her lips into mine.

Whatever I had in mind to do earlier is completely forgotten and emotions overtake me.

I bit her lips softly causing a soft moan to escape her lips as I led my tongue into her mouth and explored her lips ferociously.

My left hand slipped down into her panties after I gently raised her dress up.

Slowly, I started to fumble with the flesh beneath, enjoying the moans that her mouth sang.

"Oh my...urgggh!!" Helen cried in pleasure begging me not to stop. I lifted the other of my hand and slipped it into her breast and fondled them.

"Liam…" Helen called in an ecstatic voice. The pleasure was building as I felt her hand grab my groin causing a deep grunt to escape my mouth.

"Liam? Liam!"

I heard my mom's voice coming from the passage that lead to my room.

Helen pushed me away and arranged her dress shyly. I could still feel the bulge in my groin as I hurriedly pushed my pants up.

Mom walked in the next minute.

"Why is it so stuffy here?" she asked rhetorically as she walked further into the room.

The atmosphere was a bit tense. Helen shifted uncomfortably on the bed, still trying to adjust to the atmosphere.

"Errm...mum...is there a problem?" I asked in a bid to change the topic.

"You are needed in the counsel room right now," mum said and left hurriedly. With the way she sounded, I knew there was trouble.

"Helen, can you wait for me here?"

"Yes but don't be long," Helen said, winking at me.

I couldn't believe she still had the guts and boldness to wink at me after my mum almost caught us making out. Gosh, she would have wondered what type of a leader I was.

I went to the counsel room and found a man by name Samson, held strongly by the guards. I discovered he transformed Into a rogue and attacked people. I was furious at first but wished to not punish him if he admitted his sins and begged for forgiveness since no one got killed or hurt, but his words didn't just shock me alone but everyone else.

"Alpha or whatever you are, I would never bow to you!" The man swore spitting out.

I was beyond angry as my Alpha aura covered the whole room. I growled loudly as my eyes changed and my claws sharpened. I wanted to behave rashly but forced myself to stop.

"Lock him up in the dungeon!" I ordered.

"Don't make yourself regret this! Let me go! You are calling for war! My pack will hunt you down and kill you all!" Samson kept on yelling as he was being dragged into the dungeon.

I asked the guards to find out before the next day which pack he came from. And not just to find out his pack, they should also drop a message for their Alpha from me. He should be made to understand that his subordinate trespassed into my territory and disrespected me too. If he, the Alpha, came to me, he would surely be by my side. But if they decide to bring war, then I would ready my warriors for them.
