Selena's POV

We didn't walk for long, the pack house soon came in view I was kind of glad to see the warriors back on their feet. " I see you guys are alive and well." I said to the warriors, "So how are you guys all the pain is gone or still kind of sore?" I ask the warriors very politely." Leave my men alone lady."

" Your men? why didn't you tell us that you were in a relationship with your warriors, you naughty man child." "Oh really and why would I be the naughty one when my mind didn't even wander as far as yours." Dylan sass back. " OK just explain to me the reason behind the smelling thing."

" It's really kind of hard to explain so I want you guys to listen very carefully. The moon goddess pairs two of her children together, so that we can have more of the werewolf kind on the earth. We called them mates. Mates are your life partners they're part of your soul, if your mate dies part of you will too. There is also another way to get rid of your mate by rejecting them, but even if you reject your mate a small piece of the mate bond will still be there and if the mate bond is still there and you and your mate is still close to each other the mate bond will grow stronger than ever before and you won't be able to resist your mate anymore. With that it makes you go a little insane, because your wolf doesn't want to lose your mate again so your wolf basically takes over your entire body until the day you die. Mates are important to each other and even if you try to get rid of them you will lose something too." Dylan said all that and I must say I didn't understand anything he said and we were still outside standing and I was really tired.

" Ummm Dylan can we please go inside so I can comprehend the information a lot better." " Oh yeah sorry about that you guys can come in. Warriors go to the pack doctor and check yourselves out I'll have the other warriors patrol for now." I am just realizing that Dylan is actually a great alpha.

Then it hit me am I Dylan's mate? I can't be right, I'm not suppose to have a mate. I guess it is finally time to explain to you guys why this is so.

STORY TIME ( still Selena's POV)

It was a long time ago I was only five years old when my pack got attacked by another pack, but it wasn't any of our neighbouring pack no one in my pack knew which pack it was. The pack attacked us with full force and they even had: wolves, witches and also vampires my pack didn't stand a chance against them, but we still fought back with all we had my parents were the Alpha and the Luna of our pack which means they needed to go and lead they're pack in the war and to also ensure my safety. My mom tried to protect me but she went head on with a witch my mom defeated the witch, but she was badly hurt and I just sat there crying. My dad came in a few seconds later and saw my mom and I, mom was gasping for air dad had tears in his eyes the last thing my mom said to me is to never let my mate go through any type of pain. My mom was part witch that was one of the reasons she was able to defeat the witch, she placed a spell on me so I wouldn't be able to have a mate so that I won't be able to make my mate feel pain. I realized that she caused dad pain because dad was crying, so I promised my mom that I would never get a mate. I don't remember what happened after that it's just all blank in my mind don't know why this is so.

"Hey Selena you ok? You look a bit far away." Lisa ask me " Yeah I'm fine just remembered something that's all." I said with a slight smile but it didn't reach my eyes.

We finally were able to go inside the house and to say I was disappointed would be an understatement. This house really needs a lady's touch. Dylan led Lisa and I upstairs and place us in the same room, we had a bathroom two queen sized bed and a tv. The room actually looked presentable, Dylan clapped his hands together and two ladies came in the room they looked about late forties are so. What I want to know is how did Dylan do that just clapped his hands and people appear? So cool I wan to do that some day. " Hey ladies could you get these two young girls some girls clothes asap." Dylan asked the ladies so impolitely, " Dylan why don't you ask them more politely?" " They're maids why should I?" Did he really just say that? "So they are still people and they deserve respect as much as you, so ask them politely or Lisa and I will take our leave." " Are you really going to black mail me just because I didn't I ask politely?" " Yes I am these two ladies are very much older than you and you dare to insult them like that by ordering them around like they're your puppets."

Dylan didn't even make a move to ask politely, ok you want to play like that then? " Come on Lisa let's go I can see we aren't welcomed here, because our request are not being fulfilled." " Ok wait I'll ask them politely, just wait." " You don't have to if you don't want to, please don't allow a girl like me to force you into doing something you don't want to do. Dylan glared at me and then turned around with a annoyed look on his face.

"Ladies cou-" I cut him off before he could finish, "Umm Dylan fix the face expression and the attitude remember you are speaking to adults." I said that just to annoy him a little bit more, Dylan let out a loud sigh and put on the best smile as he possible could.

" Ladies could you please get these two young girls some girl clothes for me please and thank you?" Dylan asked with a smile. The ladies wore a small smile as they tried to suppress they're laughter, "yes alpha." They said in unison once the ladies left both Lisa and I burst out laughing at Dylan as he glared at us.

" The bathroom is over there you guys take a shower and you can take a nap, in the morning we will chat about some more things ok." "OK" Lisa and I said. Lisa took a shower first, the ladies came back with some very interesting night wear. After Lisa finished I took a long shower and then Lisa and I got ready for bed. "THATS WHEN IT HAPPENED!"
