Kylian nodded, then he slowly outstretched his hand, just like he had seen Tremeur do earlier.

Chepi was surprised by the immediate gesture, "What are you doing ?" she asked.

"Cannot wait any further to give it a try." Kylian replied, without looking at her, he was focused on concentrating the mana on his outstretched palm.

Chepi gave a haughty chuckle "Kylian, it will take days, before you could -" she paused mid-sentence when she saw a knife-sized ice shard manifesting in front of Kylian's outstretched palm.

"Woooooooshhhhhh"

In the next second, Kylian launched that shard up towards the air.

Chepi bit her tongue when she saw Kylian doing that. She was really amazed, it was the first time she had seen someone use their affinity just in their first try.

"Sorry, I wasn't listening, this thing required immense focus." Kylian spoke.

Chepi swallowed her saliva, "No nothing.....you did extremely good"

she spoke through her amazement

Kylian nodded, and again outstretched his arm and shot two ice shards this time. He then looked at his hands in a puzzled way.

"What's wrong Kyalin ?" Chepi asked when she saw Kyalin looking at his hands.

"Why don't I feel my mana decreasing ?" Kylian asked, he had not even felt his mana getting used none of the time.

"Oh, because we are inside here." Chepi replied, "You would have used at least one-fourth of your mana if we were on the outside world." she further spoke.

"What ?" Kylian was really shocked, he had hardly used three shards.

"Don't worry, it will refill within half an hour, at most" she tried cushioning Kylian's shock.

"But you said I would't be able to consume mana ?" He was confused, she was contradicting herself.

"No, I said you cannot expand your mana pool doing that." when she Kylian was confused she added "Don't worry, you will understand it as you progress."

"I cannot do something to increase my mana pool ?" Kylain was really bugged by the idea, that he had to wait every half an hour to wait for his mana to refill, and not mention in fights half an hour was enough to get you killed countless times.

"As I told earlier, level up to increase your mana pool" Chepi shrugged her shoulders "But don't expect too much, you just have an average mana pool."

"Aren't there any other ways to deal with this problem ?" Kylian asked immediately,

"Ummm" Chepi mulled over the thought for a while "There are no immediate solutions. Maybe once you reach level ten or fifteen, there might be." She replied.

"Why specifically ten and fifteen ?" Kylian asked, he could see a pattern there. He looked at Chepi with narrowed eyes, she had definitely forgotten to tell him about a major portion of the system.

Chepi gave a sheepish smile realizing "What is the rush about. I was just about to tell you."

"I am waiting" Kylian replied, looking at her with his daggering eyes.

"Well at...multiples....Stop looking at me , you making me nervous" she complained.

Kylian looked at her, how was a 'superior being' as she claims herself get even nervous so easily. Kylian then turned his head the other way.

"When you reach" she had hardly said three words when Chepi paused again "How can I even talk like that, it is rude not to look at someone when they are talking, haven't someone taught you manners" she complained again, and flew down and sat on the ground with a pout, her back turned towards Kylian.

Klyian looked in disbelief, he was the victim here. He walked around to face her, "Chepi I need to know"

"Then ask nicely" she spoke and turned again "I am listening."

"Aren't you supposed to obey me, I am your Young Master ?"

"Yes you were, but you ordered me to drop the formalities," she replied, through her pout.

"Now you can get back the formalities then."

"No it does not work that way," she replied "Ask nicely and I will tell you. It is really important and exciting at the same time. I would have already asked nicely if I were you."

Kylian sighed, and she was to accompany him in his path, how would he get used to her he wondered.

"Chepi can you please tell me." Kylian spoke after taking a long breath.

"That's better." she turned "You see, at every multiple of five you will get different skills or buffs, accordingly so you might get a skill at ten, fifteen or later on."

"Why cannot I get at five ?" Kylian immediately pointed out.

"Very attentive, Kylina" she was genuinely impressed by how careful had been throughout their conversation.

"At level five you will get to unlock another part of the system." she spoke, "But I don't know much about it." She spoke scratching her head.

Kylian's shoulders slumped, he was not sure if she had been of much help, but she was all he had for right now, and mana problem was a huge issue.

Seeing his disappointment, Chepi spoke with narrowed eyes "Kylian aren't you being too greedy. Weren't you without any of this before ?"

She was right, Kylian took a long breath then again started practicing with his affinity, he wanted to get better with it, get used to these powers.

"What are you doing." Chepi asked when she noticed Kylian was again forming different ice shards.

"Practicing," he replied, nonchalantly.

"Don't you want to go outside, back to your body ?" she asked "It had been a day since you came here."

"What ?" Kylian quickly dropped all the three ice shards he had formed. "It does not even feel like an hour."

"Time moves differently in both these spaces. It had been a day since you died." she replied, Chepi herself wanted to go outside, it had been two centuries since she had left the place.

"Can I return back to here, once I leave ?" Kylian asked.

"No" she replied in disbelief "Why would you even want to return to this place ?" Chepi's question was genuine, who would want to stay in a place where time passed much faster than normal.

"I want to get hold to my affinity" Kylian spoke "I don't want to wait half an hour after just casting a dozen shards."

Chepi nodded, he sounded a bit more logical now.

"Can you tell where my body is right now ?" Kylian asked another question.

"Yes wait." Chepi turned into a bright white light and vanished for a few seconds before reappearing.

"You are in a forest, two lower beings are protecting you. One of them looks like a small Jeyan and the other naive human. There is no immediate danger." she gave a small report once she was back.

Kylian nodded, it was good enough he could use an hour or two to get used to his affinity before going outside.
