Eyes enhanced, Afena played cards in her room until morning came. Rudsis was likely going to wake up later than usual, but she couldn't count on it because of his discipline. With that in mind, she lighted a small, controlled fire in her room, and made the tea she promised him. Preferring to find him at the common room instead of having her door knocked on, Afena ran into him walking down the corridor. He'd just opened the door to step out.
"Do you have the--"
She didn't let him finish, shoving a small clay container with a stopper on top into his hands. "Make sure she drinks it all. Meet me in the common room."
Considering that the mead was not the best quality, she ordered some cider this time.
"It's still the morning, girl," said the keeper.
"It was a rough a night," replied Afena.
"Oh? I thought you'd gone to your room alone."
The Inarenta gave a silent look to the innkeeper.
