Primordial Golden Soul Pearl

AT THE DEER TRIBE

A tall figure was sitting on a chair inside a mud house, his long ashen brown hair was swaying in the direction of the wind breeze. The hypnotic-blue eyes that were always dazzled in wisdom now darkened with perplexity. Though Xander has now recovered from the poison and has returned to his usual but in his heart, he didn't feel any better.

Ever since Keira left, he was always concerned, especially yesterday when he felt like he could hear Keira crying through his antler symbol. He tried to focus on searching for the place, but he couldn't specify where Keira was as if she was in a high-level magical realm which disturbed his mind and made him even more restless.

Soon, Xavier's figure walked into the chief's quarter "Brother, how are you?" Xavier frowned at his brother, whose expression was unusual "If you're feeling unwell just tell me, it's fine I can help take care of the tribe while you are resting"

Xander sighed as he was uncertain if he should explain what happened to his younger brother. also, he was unsettled that all responsible rest on Xavier. Dealing with the tribe trading was not an easy task. That was the reason that he shouldn't leave his duty to find Keira and let Xavier manage alone.

"How is the situation in the tribe? and how is the movement of the monsters?" Xander avoided answering his concerns to not cause further trouble to his brother.

Xavier narrowed his ocean eyes at him, trying to read what he was thinking. However, he couldn't even guess what his brother was thinking as Xander was the most profound person, the hardest to read.

"the trades going smoothly ..but the strange thing is that all of the monsters unexpectedly changed directions and vanished" Xavier replied, feeling like the monsters were following something.

"Change directions?" Xander raised his voice "Where are they headed?"

Xavier raised his hand and brushed aside his wavy light brownish hair "It seems like they went in two directions, some of them are heading towards the Mystic forest and the other goes to the Apart forest" Xavier wasn't certain why the monsters heading to the mystic forest because generally that forest no one dares to enter, Going to that forest was clearly a suicide. While the part where the monsters headed to the Apart forest was reasonable since the forest was close to the sea and a big transport hub where the monster could easily hunt without much effort.

"Oh right, I saw that Keira came to take care of you while you were sick" Xavier's tone was cold. Even though Xander was his older brother, he would never approve if he was attracted to the same female as him.

Xander, hearing his brother's unusual cold voice, frowned "Yes, she came to look after me a few days ago"

"Did she come here again?"

Xander raised his eyebrows at his brother "Didn't you know Keira left the tribe?"

His response shocked Xavier "Where is she going, you know?" he gripped Xander's shoulders tightly. he didn't know that Keira had left the tribe when he was busy dealing with trades.

Xander began to understand his brother's straightforward reaction, knowing what Xavier was thinking of Keira and this irritated him. He never thought that he would be in a situation where the brother he loved and trusted had liked the same female as him.

He let out a deep sigh and brushed Xavier's hand off his shoulder "I don't know. She didn't tell me"

Xavier knew that his brother would never lie to him, if he answered like this then he really doesn't know "I'm going to visit Aunt Emma. If there's anything in the tribe to deal with, call me" Xavier said, patting Xander's shoulder before walking away.

Xander watched his brother left then he leaned against the wall with his eyes closed, trying to focus on searching for where Keira was.

Back in the mystic forest.

The sun was setting now indicating that darkness would soon take its place. Keira, who had just finished feeding the pheasant, saw that and walked back to the tree house. she rushed closer when she found Arel cooking in the kitchen "Have you recovered? Why don't you rest a little longer?" grabbing his arm to make him turn around.

Arel smiled and shook his head "I'm fine" He paused and hold Keira's hand to sit at the chair "I have something to ask" His tone was firm like he was about to ask something serious.

"When I lost consciousness have you given me anything?" He took a seat next to Keira.

She heard this and hesitated as to how she would explain to him that the dream voice had given her the pearl to save his life, but it might be possible that Arel could know something since he had lived this long

"I'm dreaming again" Keira paused to think carefully before she continued "That dream voice, he gave me a glowing golden pearl to me. And when I woke up, it appeared in my hand so I gave it to you as I thought it would help you"

Arel frowned his brows, tightened his lips in thought listening to Keira's explanation. that made Keira wonder why Arel had such a serious look on his face.

" Did I do something wrong?" Her tone was tense.

Arel reached out and stroked Keira's hair "You didn't do anything wrong, Keira" he paused "I'm going to prepare a decoction to help you stop dreaming" Arel stroked Keira's head to console her from overthinking.

He noticed the voice in Keira's dream was definitely not an ordinary person when it even knew that his soul was wounded, which was a secret that only he knew. Coupled with how it possessed a Primordial golden soul pearl that could alleviate the wounded soul, making him even more anxious that such a person was around Keira especially if it's malicious towards her, Thus he had to find a way to cut the tracking seal on Keira before anything would happen.
