Chapter 226: You're Not Behaving!

"Do you think just because you say that, I will believe you didn't do it?"

Henry Russell coldly snorted, his sharp eyes fixed on Lucas Carter.

However, faced with Henry's stare, Lucas seemed unfazed. He picked up a glass of water from the table, shook it gently, and smiled indifferently. "Mr. Russell, could it be that you've fallen in love with my place? And you've found such an excuse to stay here overnight?"

Unable to stand Lucas's pretentious attitude, Henry gritted his teeth and said, "Lucas, stop acting. Do you think I would have come to find you without evidence? I'll say it one last time, release Charlotte Cooper, and I'll pretend this never happened."

Lucas nonchalantly raised an eyebrow, his smile vanishing, and met Henry's gaze with indifference.

"Oh? Since you've already found evidence, why waste time with me, Mr. Russell? Just go and sue me. But I can tell you very clearly that even if you do, you won't be able to find the person you're looking for."
