Behind the Truth

Victoria Garcia continued to go to work as usual at the Group's office. On the surface, nothing seemed out of the ordinary.

On the fourth day, Alan called her.

"Miss Garcia, I've found the man in the photo you showed me."

"Where?" Victoria's hand, clutching the phone, inevitably tightened a little more.

A voice came from Alan's end, "I've moved him to a safe place. You can come see him at any time."

"Good, I'll go right now." Victoria's voice contained a sense of urgency.

Something had happened, and this man must be able to supply an answer.

Victoria struggled to keep control of her emotions as her mind raced during the journey. Over the past three days, she had been contemplating whether her mother could really do such a thing? Was she coerced, did she do it willingly, or was there a reason?
