Chapter 162: Focus on Me

Carter and Ariana had gotten Daniel and Elena setup, while they stayed for a week to get Mia settled. It didn't take long for them to find a place to stay and Carter had told his pilot that they'd be taking the jet from time to time.

And with that, Carter and Ariana were back in the office with mounds of paperwork and interviews. Hordes of tasks that seemed to never end and Jessica had it covered well. Carter had finally met her in person and gotten to see the woman work. She was phenomenal and he had no doubts that she would be wonderful. Mia seemed to be doing well and only getting better with the treatments. The restaurant was doing well and now all that was left to worry about was the wedding.
