Chapter 35: Cassandra

I left the library and entered the classroom building, the man's words still ringing in my ears. As I climbed the stairs I thought about the guys and the struggles we'd been through. The trying times had brought us closer. But we needed something more. I needed to master their elements while completely giving over my heart to them. But more importantly I needed to believe in myself, and that seemed to be the hardest thing to do. Although our lives could be caught in pictures frames, it was made up of moments we would never get back. I needed to make every moment count.

In the classroom, I took a seat next to Braeden, his hand going to my leg, his lips to my cheek. Other students watched and snickered.
