Yu Xiaogang has been a waste all his life unable to breakthrough to level 30, due to a mutation in his Martial Spirit.
He was bullied and rejected by his peers in the clan. Unable to bear the mockery of his clansmen he left the and decided to pursue a career in the theoretical knowledge of Soul Master.
Yu Xiaogang joined Spirit Hall and gained access to countless books and papers containing the research of his predecessors. He spent more than 5 years reading books and gaining knowledge.
During his 5 years of staying in Spirit Hall, he befriended a young and lovely girl.
The girl was naive and innocent and had never seen the world outside of the Spirit Hall. She did not have anyone of her peer as her friend to talk to or spend time with.
Because of her identity as the Saint of Wuhun Hall, and disciple of the Pope everyone used to speak to her with courtesy and reverend.
All she could do was cultivate herself under the guidance of her teacher.
Her life was boring until she met a young Yu Xiaogang.
So, when she met Yu Xiaogang she was interested in him. Interested in his vast knowledge. Later her maiden heart was swayed by these newfound feelings.
Both of them used to see each other frequently hidden from the prying eyes of the people. They researched and discussed various theories together.
The girl even used to bring him various ancient books and manuscripts not accessible to general people, hidden from her teacher. As they spent more time with each other, their feelings got deeper and became close to each other.
Later unable to suppress his feelings Yu Xiaogang confessed to the girl, which the girl accepted.
But his momentary happiness was short-lived as they were found out by the Pope. He was banished from the Spirit Hall in shame and his name and face were smeared with insults, that young and innocent girl was also locked in never to be seen again.
Later he knew that the girl was the Saint of the Spirit Hall and the disciple of the Pope.
This incident left a shadow on him forever.
To prove himself to the world and his clan, he was desperate.
At his desperate time, God sends him help by sending him a heaven-defying genius as his disciple with twin spirits and with the strongest Weapon Martial Spirit, Houtian Hammer of the Houtian Clan.
Grandmaster was extremely happy when one of his 10 Core theories proved correct when he chose a 400-year mandala snake as Tang San's first Spirit Ring for his Blue Silver Grass, giving it the property of being sturdy and poisonous (fatal to opponents)
The Ten Theories that everyone used to look down upon now proved correct.
He, Yu Xiaogang felt, that his hard times were finally over, now that he had Tang San. He became more cheerful, optimistic and confident than his past self.
Later God added another sweet candy to his dish by sending another genius, Yang Kai whom he wanted to accept as a disciple.
His enthusiasm, knowledge and pride in him made him sure that he'll accomplish this task. If he acted forceful and showed his deep knowledge to Yang Kai he was sure Yang Kai would beg to become his apprentice.
A trick which he used against the Saint of Spirit Hall, Bibi Dong. Takes advantage of her innocent heart to gather knowledge from the books unassailable to general people.
"Do you want to accept me as a Teacher?" Asked Grandmaster again seeing Yang Kai not replying as if in a trance.
Yeah, Yang Kai was indeed in a trance. In his past life before transmigrating, he did not take anyone as a master and cultivated step by step diligently all by himself. He, who could reach the pinnacle of his Universe without anyone's guidance, So how could he accept a master in this life?
Yang Kai found this quite amusing.
But the funniest part for Yang Kai was, that the person who intended to accept him as a disciple only had the Soul Power of level 29 in his 40s. Such persons are considered trash in the Soul Master society.
Yang Kai disdained the person even more. Was he worthy enough to accept a supreme being and a mighty dragon as his disciple?
Hell, No!
Yang Kai even scolded and cursed The System, who was from even a higher plane than his previous Universe of the 3000 worlds. So how could he accept just any trash from a low-level plane as his teacher?
His pride as a dragon never allowed him to look down on himself and accept just anyone as a master.
What was the concept of taking teacher? He is a Dragon and Dragons are considered the supreme Beings and are known as the darling of the Universe. They are powerful, dominant, overbearing and extremely prideful.
Though his past self was arrogant, he was restrained at the same time. He was considered a human until he integrated all the Dragon Sources in the Ancestral Halls of Dragon Islands in Star Boundary.
But because he was impacted with a heavy backlash from the Heavenly Dao after using a taboo technique from Spacetime Change to defeat Mo, causing him to disappear from the 3000 worlds. His cultivation, bone age, bloodline everything was sealed and he had to cultivate again to break the seals and return to his world to his family.
When he was sealed, a part of his mature mentality as a supreme was also somehow affected, so he was experiencing his hot and frivolous youth again, except that he was more powerful than his previous teenage self.
The system called it the Balance of Yin and Yang. Because his bone age was sealed, his mentality was adjusted to that of the same age.

**Author's Note (In this context)**
{ In his youth he was a human who had not integrated the dragon source fully, but he became a dragon later, cultivated to a much higher realm, defeated Mo using a taboo technique. But now his bone age is sealed and his mature mentality was adjusted to match the bone age he is undergoing his second time as a youth.
The only difference is that previously he was human but now he had the body and bloodline of a dragon (sealed). Thus you can consider him experiencing all those that young dragons are in their youth (even in mature dragons) i.e extremely arrogant, prideful and full of lust.
He is both Human and Dragon but his nature is more inclined towards those of the Dragons.}

(Story continues....)
"Sorry Grandmaster I don't plan to accept anyone as my master and cultivate under anyone's tutelage," replied Yang Kai politely as he rejected Yu Xiaogang's offer.
"Okay, then you'll be my....." Grandmaster suddenly stopped before he could continue any further after hearing what Yang Kai replied.
"What did you say?" Yu Xiaogang asked again as if he could not believe his ears.
"I don't intend to take anyone as my master. I can cultivate by myself." Yang Kai replied again.
Yu Xiaogang, who was happy and excited to accept Yang Kai as a disciple now stood dumbfounded in the streets in front of the academy office.
Yu Xiaogang thought he could take in Yang Kai as his disciple by showing him his profound knowledge but he didn't expect his plan to fail so terribly.
"How can that be possible, without anyone guiding you how can you achieve great heights in your cultivation. Moreover, in the cultivation of Martial Spirits, it is better to have a teacher to guide you for smooth sailing." Grandmaster tried convincing Yang Kai. Obviously, not ready to give up such a good seed.
"Sorry! I've made up my mind. I don't need any teacher as I can cultivate of my own and even without the help of anyone's guidance I can achieve greatness far above all." Yang Kia replied resolutely.
"Thanks for your time Grandmaster and good luck on your research."
Saying this Yang Kai stopped any further conversation between them and went away.
Grandmaster stood there motionless, clenching his fists. Never in his life had he felt so much insulted.
Yang Kai rejecting him was like a tight slap in his face.
"Hateful! A boy who didn't even grow hairs down below dares to be presumptuous in front of me." Grandmaster retorted gritting his teeth.
"You are not even close to the talent and background of my disciple Tang San. Just wait for him to defeat you, that time don't come to me crying for worshipping me as a teacher. Yu Xiaogang muttered in his mind.
He considered Yang Kai's talent far inferior to his disciple Tang San's. Compared to Tang San's twin martial spirit Yang kai's talent was not worth mentioning.
Yang Kai may have a fast pace of cultivation now, but whether that will remain the same in future was hardly guaranteed. So, Tang San was bound to step over Yang Kai. Thinking about these Yu Xiaogang's anger eased a lot.
Compared to this youngster, Tang San was much more sensible and well behaved is at least what Grandmaster thought.
"Puff looks like he is really anxious! Humph! Want to accept Yang Kai as an apprentice? Wishful thinking! Okay let's go and inform this to Director Su." the person replied.
He was a teacher and was tasked to look after Yang Kai and protect him secretly.
Yang Kai had been long aware of his presence but he didn't expose him because he meant no harm. Yang kai was happy to see the Academy arrange a teacher for his protection. Though the level of the person was worse than his level 40 soul power it still represented their goodwill and heart.
Yang Kai was deeply touched by this gesture and wrote down their goodwill in his heart. He decided to repay these teachers and the Dean in future.
In the Academic Affairs Office,
The teachers sat and discussed various issues most of them related to Yang Kai. They were enthusiastic about Yang Kai's joining. Such a genius was enough to create a storm and gather attention wherever he went.
Suddenly a teacher came in. He was the person responsible for monitoring Yang Kai's safety.
"Why are you here Old Wen? Aren't you responsible for protecting Yang Kai in Secret?" asked a teacher.
"Say what I brought you all ridiculous news! Grandmaster wants to accept Yang Kai as a disciple!" shouted the teacher.
"Haha! Haha!.....Haha!"
Listening to it, everyone started laughing loudly as if they heard a great joke.
After a while, everyone stopped laughing and everyone's expression became serious.
"We should not let that waste Grandmaster get close to a genius like Yang Kai." replied a teacher seriously.
"I think so."
"Should we stop him? Don't worry about it. Let him have Tang San, he already got it cheap getting a disciple with innate full spirit power. Zhao Ming is a real genius compared to Tang San he is far more monstrous. We can't let him be destroyed in the hands of the Grandmaster." replied another teacher.
Every teacher present here did not have any good opinion about Yu Xiaogang, a freeloader who mainly stayed here in the academy for free food and lodging and was a burden to everyone.
"Enough, the Grandmaster is a friend of the dean. You must not presumptuously evaluate yourself. Although no one has proved his theory is correct, no one has proved his theory wrong." replied Director Su.
"Director, Even if he is a friend of the dean, he can't just accept students from our college as his apprentice. After all, he is not a teacher at our college. This is not giving face to our college."
"That's right, I think Director is more suitable to teach Yang Kai."
Director Su frowned.
That's right, when can the students in their college be poached away by others to let them accept disciples at will?
Don't worry about the child, Tang San after all he has a waste of Wuhun even though it is innate full spirit power he can't go any further. But the child Yang Kai, although we don't know his martial spirit, we know very well that he is definitely a genius seeing his spirit power.
"Forget it. If Yang Kai is willing, then we can't stop him." Director Su said. But his dissatisfaction with the Grandmaster deepened a bit.
"Don't worry director! Yang Kai had already rejected Grandmaster. His face was worth seeing though. " replied Old Wen.
"Great! Great!.... I didn't expect this kid to be so decisive.
They found Yang Kai more pleasing to their eye.
