Restless, I tossed and turned all night. It wasn't because of a nightmare that I didn't sleep.

Tears sprang to my eyes. I wiped them away quickly. Yeah, that definitely wasn't one of my emotions. 


I waited for her to settle down, but she was still worked up by the time the sun rose.
