*Lucas*
What was Sasha trying to hide?
Ever since she snuck back into the bedroom in the middle of the night, I knew she was trying to hide something from me. I didn’t call her out on it because there was a look of desperation in her eyes.
Instead, I had Ian follow her. I know, not the best boyfriend move, but I wanted to make sure she was safe.
“She’s been visiting the Lycaon Church, regularly,” I told Brady over lunch at a nearby café.
“So?”
“So, she thinks that the church is hiding Morianne and that Morianne is our best bet at getting our bodies and our child back.”
Brady frowned. I couldn’t see his eyes behind his sunglasses, but I knew they were disapproving.
“Lucas, you haven’t been tailing her, have you?”
“What if I have? She’s been lying to me.”
“And your solution is to follow her around like some creep?”
I scoffed and shook my head. “I’m not the one who’s following her.”
“Okay, so you got someone else to follow her. That’s a whole new level of weird.”
