How did he find me? Why was he dressed in a robe? Had he planned this?


So many questions ran through my mind and I didn’t know which one to ask first.


‘What are you doing here?’ It was the lamest thing to ask, but it was the first question that came to mind.


Lucas bowed his head. ‘I’m here to protect you and to stop you from doing anything rash.’


I scoffed. ‘I don’t need your help with that.’


‘Sasha, I know what you’ve been up to. All the supposed late nights studying, you’ve been coming here trying to get information.’


I swallowed hard. My throat was tight. How long had he known? Why hadn’t he told me?


‘When I thought something was up, I had Ian follow you. I wanted to make sure you were okay.’


‘You had me followed!?’ I tried to pull my arm away, but Lucas tightened his grip.
