Chapter 30: Falling for You

The next morning, Jamie cornered Logan outside of his office. Probably not the nicest thing to do when they were kind of not being friends, but she hadn’t really made the smartest decisions recently.

Getting caught, almost destroying their ‘more than friendship’ thing they had going on, putting way too much focus on a guy who was ‘maybe’ following his parents’ footsteps.

It wasn’t quite obsessing but maybe Valerie was right with taking a step back.

Logan probably didn’t want to see her, and she didn’t blame him either. But Jamie wasn’t the type to wait around and let things fester. She already knew what that did to her, investigating Andy to the point she was very obviously not okay with him.

Corning Logan and confronting the problem was the route she decided to go. So, maybe she might’ve been a bit caught up in the whole secret agent spy thing but her investigation wasn’t over, even if Valerie had taken the lead, and Jamie went into a supporting role.
