Jamie walked back into her cabin, Valerie waiting for her. She didn’t say anything, just watched silently as Jamie picked up a pillow and screamed into it. 


“Oh-oh! That was not an angry distressed scream!” squealed Valerie. 


“We’re dating,” said Jamie, lifting her head only for a moment before going back to screaming in the pillow. 


Jamie was dating someone; she was DATING someone. Oh god, her father could never know.


She was never interested in anyone before so there hadn’t been a problem, but her father would try and intimidate Logan, give him the shovel talk and all that. 


Scratch that, he would try and fight Logan and Jamie was good, but her father was better. It was something she always envied. Jamie would like her boyfriend ALIVE though. 


“Yes! New relationship! You’re getting red—oooh~! That means something!” cheered Valerie, almost more excited for this than Jamie was. 


“It means you’re being embarrassing.” Flush Jamie, looking away.
