Casandra believes that magic is for desperate people who gave up on their
chances of victory. The world is a harsh place where people abuse one another and you must have a thick skin to make it. Forgiveness is not on her list of attributes.
While on a trip to Alexandria with her archeologist father, she discovers an ancient crown which changes everything. The crown opens her eyes to a world of the dead, where dwells a young man who sets her world into a spiral. He shows her that many of her assumptions about her place in life, her ideas of reality, and most importantly, what she felt love was, are not real after all.

The two set off across the desert and even speak to the ancient voices of the oracles discovering who they are and were meant to be. The entwining love between them blossoms as they grow on their journey of adventure, battles, and struggles to become complete.

Cassandra remembered her promise to her father. She visited him every New Year’s and spent time with him, disguised as a mortal. She liked to revisit the roads of her youth. New York City was a bustling city, with a lot of noise and a lot of stuff. She would see lovers embracing and businessmen arguing. She remembered when she was a part of this rat race. A world where every second is measured and every ounce of effort has a dollar sign associated with it. But, now, this world was not her own anymore. Her world was eternal. 


She would return home again to the realm of her husband, once named Lakis, now named Osiris. They resided along the river Nile in the skies. The stars studding the landscape. The day and night blended together. They were joined by the happy people so blessed to pass over into the next realm and live in the City of Osiris and Isis.
