Ezen: "Why? Do you know her?

Victor: "I don't feel the need to tell you about this. And also, it's none of your business."

Succubi got annoyed when she heard her name.

How does Anastasia come between all of the conversations?

Is there any connection that she can't see?

Ezen smiled with satisfaction. "Hmm. You know her, that means she is not a normal person for sure. She has some kind of connection with me, right?"

Victor didn't said anything about it, but by seeing his silence. Ezen understood that slowly the dots will connect with each other on their own. All he has do, is just wait.

Ezen: "Alright, don't tell me anything. I'll find it out by myself. After all, meeting me is written in her prophecy. So I know, there is something more in that."

Cassandra got confused. She is the one who found out about the prophecy, then how did Ezen learn about it?

Cassandra: "Who told you about the prophecy? Because I never mentioned anything about it to you."

Ezen: "Ohh Cassandra, how stupid of you! You really thought that you are the only one who could see other's future?" He looked at victor and smiled mockingly. "Ask Victor, he knows that person very well."

Victor closed his eyes to control his emotions.  But now, Ezen was talking too much. He got to say something about it.

Victor: "If you know so much about the prophecy then you might also know that your death is already written in that. So don't be too overconfident about being an immortal because Prophecies are never wrong."

Ezen: "Yeah right, my death. The most infamous gossip that is spreading around in the supernatural realm. But the question is, who is going to kill me? You?" He laughed. "Come on, victor. I killed all the people from your bloodline. Only you are alive. but at what cost? You are not a human anymore that means you can't kill me." 

If an archangel from heaven becomes 1000 years old then they get a chance to incarnate on the earth. and the bloodline where they were going to be reincarnated, was known as the "descendants of the heavens".

The start of this bloodline happened when Adam and Eve were casted out from the garden of Eden.

That's why God made many kids through them, just so his legacy could continue.

Victor was also from the same bloodline. That's why he was heaven's favourite from his birth.

He not only got many powers but he also inherited the whole empire of the Stafford village.

He was going to be the future king of this Kingdom. That's means he had a lot of people's responsibility on his shoulder.

But he was not scared of that. He was anxious for some other matter.

It all started when a powerful shaman of the Kingdom heard a prophecy coming from the heaven.

The prophecy was that a human descendant of the heaven will have a power that could wipe an entire population of the hell. That means the world would be free from all the demons.

He thought that it was easy because for that, all he has do, is kill the sole heir of the hell (who was Ezen at that time.) But it all changed when he met her.

His one choice made the whole world turned into a Chaos. And he is still getting punished for the mistake.

Victor came out from his memories and looked at ezen. "I know, I can't kill you but it doesn't mean I can't trap you back into that dungeon like I did before. So stay away from Anastasia. It is for your own good."

He tried to warn him, but from when did Ezen started listening to anyone? He will do what he wants.

Ezen: "You are really threatening me? Too bad, because I am not going to listen to you." He made his demonic face. "Stop me if you can!!" After saying that, he disappeared from that place because he didn't wanted to see their ugly faces anymore. He already has lot of work to do.

He wants to first resurrect Equinox. And after she came back to life then he will think for a way to kill victor. But for now, he is just going to ignore their existence.

Succubi was still there with Victor and Cassandra.

She was just awkwardly staring at their annoyed faces.

Succubi: "Ezen is gone. So I think I should leave too. But before that, I want to talk to Victor." She gave him a dazzling smile. "Can we talk?"

Before victor could answer, Cassandra barged in the between of the conversation, because she thought that succubi don't have a nice motive behind this.

Cassandra: "No, you can't. We are leaving now."

Succubi got frustrated. "Listen woman! I am not talking with you. So shut up. Stop acting like you are his wife."

Cassandra wanted to say something but victor gave his answer.

Victor: "Fine, but it better to be quick. I am not going to listen to unnecessary talks."

Succubi giggled. "Unnecessary? No, I never say anything unnecessary. To be honest, I have a news for you."

Victor: "What is it?"

Succubi: "You are trying to find her, right? Your lover?"

She looked and Cassandra and noticed that she was about to cry. That thing made succubi smirked. "Do you want to know where she is?"

Victor's heart froze on the spot.

Does he want to know where she is? If not, then why did he wasted half of his life while trying to find her.

Isn't love crazy?

His mind was stopping him from saying yes. But his heart couldn't bear the separation anymore.

Why does he still love her so much? Even though people say that she ruined him.

Some people might find it weird but loving and yearning for someone for 1000 years is not a joke.

His voice stuttered while answering. "Where is she?"

Succubi smiled with satisfaction. "Ohh, so you still love her? I mean, why wouldn't you? You were even ready to sacrifice the whole world for her. I remember it, your love story was quite popular in the 1400s."

Cassandra was feeling very dejected while listening to this.

Victor still loved that woman? Even though she was the reason why his powers were taken away.

How can someone love anyone so unconditionally?

She didn't wanted to accept that, but she was jealous.

Why wouldn't she? Seeing your fiance falling for someone else right before your eyes. Who wouldn't be sad?

Succubi: "Alright, I'll tell you but what will I get in return?"

As a demon, it is in their blood for doing bargain for anything, so how can she leave this amazing chance to get what she wants?

But victor was tired of her tricks and got angry. "If you want to tell then say it quickly! Don't waste my time!"

Succubi: "Fine! I'll tell you. So I saw your precious little lover in hell. She was burning till death." She made a sadistic face and giggled "Seeing her screaming with pain was a very marvelous sight to see. Trust me, you would have loved it." She said this line just for Cassandra to hear.

Victor knew succubi was lying. But what if she is telling the truth?

Is the person he is trying to find really in pain? And is it because of him? Even though he did nothing wrong but still he was feeling very guilty. Why?

Why was his heart beating so fast when he thinks about her? Why can't he forget her?

Thinking about it, made him feel more depressed. That's why he stormed out from that place while living Cassandra their alone.

"Victor Stop!" Cassandra tried to stop him but he didn't listened to her and ran away from the palace to a quiet place.

Succubi looked at Cassandra and smirked.

"He is having an emotional breakdown. You should take a chance and seduce him. Aleast  he will forget about his old lover." She made an disgusted face. "I don't even like that bitch anyway. God knows what victor saw in her? So that's why I am saying, go and snatch your love back from that witch."

Cassandra snickered "You know what? That's the difference between you and me. I don't take advantage of people's emotions, unlike you. Maybe that's why Ezen never looked at you."

Succubi: "You bitch!!!" She got frustrated but Cassandra ignored her and started to run after victor because she don't have enough time to deal with succubi's bullshit.

Succubi: "Fine then!! Go! Be his mistress for your entire your life! I don't give a fuck!!" She sucked her finger which was bleeding. "What a bunch of crazy people! Why does she have to bring Ezen into this matter?" She fumed with anger. "Stupid bitch!"

Succubi looked at herself and noticed her body slowly turning weak, that's why she needs to quickly kill someone and steal their mana before it's too late.

On the other hand, Cassandra reached towards the Kalana lake while following victor.

God knows why everyone comes to this place when they are in pain.

Cassandra: "Victor Stop!"

He stopped when he heard her voice. "Cassandra go back to Edinburgh. This place is not good for you." He sat near the river.

But Cassandra ignored his words and sat beside him. "No! I don't want to. So stop forcing me. Alright? I am not going to leave unless you are coming with me. "

Victor sighed. He was already feeling very low from the morning because of remembering the old memories from the past.

He just didn't felt like talking to anyone.

Victor: "Cassandra please understand! I need some alone time." After saying that, he looked at the other direction from her.

Cassandra knew that victor is not going to listen to her in his this state that's why she decided to do as he said. "Fine, but if you need anything then call me. I will be right there. Okay?"

She looked at him with her sympathetic eyes but he didn't noticed it. That's why she left from that place. Leaving him alone while he was brooding with memories.

Finally, he had some peace by himself.

In olden times also, whenever he felt anxious or had some bad feelings. He would always come here and sit in the nature.

By doing that, he used to get many healing energy's from the universe.

He still remembers that this place was found by his younger sister Amara. They both used to play in this place when they were younger. But look how time changes.

He opened his eyes and looked at the ground and noticed that, many fireflies were buzzing around a spot repeatedly.

Seeing them glowing in the dark was an amazing sight to see.

He went towards that place and looked at the sand that was squished down.

It looked like there was some kind of box hidden inside it.

That's why he quickly dugged in the sand and found the box that was buried inside.

He remembers this thing clearly.

This box belonged to him.

He used to keep all of his special belongings into it.

He hided the box here because he didn't wanted anyone to even glance at the stuff that are very precious to him.

That's why now, he decided to open this box.

Stafford village has given him many painful memories but that doesn't mean, he never had a good moments there. Thats why he wanted to relive those moments again.

After opening the box he found many things inside it.

His small little dagger that he got as a gift from his father and there were many magical objects inside it that he made by himself.

But the one thing that caught his attention the most was something else.

It was a painting of a woman. She had a beautiful curly red hairs that she left opened and her crystal blue eyes were looking hollow like she had no soul in her. but it was still very mesmerizing to look at.

But by seeing that woman, Victor's heart turned cold. He started to get chills down his spine.

He didn't expected to see this picture here.

After 1000 years, seeing his lover's face again. He couldn't control his emotions anymore.

"I am sorry...." He said while shedding tears with his heartbroken eyes.

Victor: "I am sorry, I couldn't protect you. but please don't punish me like this. I don't want to stay away from you anymore. Please forgive me Equinox.." he hugged the portrait tightly. "I need you."
