Ch I: I Transmigrated Into Minecraft?

'I was just sitting at my desk, playing Minecraft hardcore for the first time since getting a PC. And… Now I'm In a lucid dream of Minecraft? Everything is block-like, and I can… feel the grass through my shoes? And I'm also a block?! Somehow I'm fine with this, it's like I've always been this way… This is weird, maybe I should just ignore this.'

*Sigh*

'I think I should stop playing games so late, I don't think dreaming of games is very healthy…'

"Well, since I'm dreaming of Minecraft... Let's see what this dream can offer... Inventory." I say as I imagine an inventory screen appearing in front of me.

*Swish*

"Oh? I have this? That's pretty cool. It's kind like how VR minecraft looks through a video... There's nothing in my inventory though, let's try cheat's now." I say as I will I Inventory to disappear.

*Swoosh*

"...I didn't know I got rewards for doing acheivemen- Advancements. You aren't a bedrock edition bum anymore." I say jokingly

"Now, let's do creative mode first."

"What a bad dream, I guess stuck in survival. Can I at least tp, or am I just not Operator? Alright let's teleport one block higher.

"What a shame, I guess my brain is always out to sabotage me. Well, let's just play Minecraft I guess. In a dream... Yeah, I definitely need a life." I say as I make my way to a tree

"Ew, it's birch." I say with what would have been visible disgust if could express it with my face. "I… It's fine I guess, I won't be building anything with it anytime soon anyways. Speedrun!"

"Wait... I have to punch the trees... Wouldn't that hurt? I hope not..." I say as I reach out, lightly punching the birch tree

*Creak* *Crack*

"Woah, that feels weird, cracks just appear on the wood! I guess I don't have to punch it very hard, can I break it faster?" I say. 

After experimenting for a while, I find that the speed and strength of the punch doesn't matter, I just need the intent to break it, and I have to hit it consecutively with only one hand. And I've found that I don't feel pain from punching it hard.

"Well, that's enough experimentation, let's play this dream to the fullest before I wake up." I say, finally deciding to break the log.

*Creak* *Creak* *Crack* *Creak* *Creak* Crack* 

*Thud* *Plop*

"So it's not with every achievement? What a shame." I say as I get all five logs from the tree.

'Inventory.'

*Swish*

'Now... How do I craft? Do I just imagine it like the other stuff...'

I struggle to craft a crafting table for about 30 seconds until I finds out I have to drag it with my finger... hand thingy that is now also block-like... How am I ok with this?

(A/N: Can't really do an accurate representation of the panels in minecraft, so you'll have to use your brain)

[Birch log(5) -> Birch Plank(20)?]

'Now, do I just tap the planks?'

*Tap*

'That only turned one log into a plank… How do I shift-click? Stupid dream.'

This time he only wasted ten seconds before finding out he has to imagine himself holding shift and clicking while he is tapping. But, he ran out of planks long ago. So he now had 20 birch buttons.

*Swoosh*

'Now I need more wood, the sun is at noon directly above my head darkening, I will probably wake up before it gets dark, so let's explore all this dream has to off' 

-A few Minecraft hours later-

'Inventory'

*Swish*

"Now it's time to mine." I say excitedly.

Moments later, my hard work is rewarded with an appearance in chat.

'Are rewards exclusive to hidden advancements? Hm, that's most likely since hidden acheivements are generally hard to acheive... I didn't get a reward for [Time To Mine] either. What are some other hidden achieveme- Advancements?' 

"I can't think of any… Guess I'll have to wait for it to happen naturally… well in the meantime, I'll just mine for iron I guess. Speedrun!"

*Ten minutes later*

"I haven't done any hidden Advancements yet… I wish I could remember. My dream is just so strict. Couldn't I have been like a god messing with the inhabitants of the Minecraft world instead? Or, maybe just nothing to do with minecraft, just anything that doesnt have this many restrictions!"

'It doesn't truly matter I guess, I'll wake up soon anyway. Let's just make an iron pick and armor so I can explore the world.'

*Plap*
