Ch II: Exploration, Wake Up Call, And Becoming A Hero
Theo collected iron at a record pace but did not manage to surface before the sun had set, but it would seem his brain had other plans for him since he would be able to explore the beauty of his dream just a while longer, and so, with his finished set of armor we begin his journey.
"Woah, I'm still asleep? I thought my dream would end when it became dark, this is cool!" I said
'Now what…? I really don't want to go back into the mines, I never knew I was claustrophobic until today. Ah, fuck it, I'd rather run around than go back into the mines. I'm just lucky all of the iron I found was exposed with huge veins'
(A/N: He has an extra hot bar slot on each side of the nine hot bar slots. They aren't connected to the original nine, and they can only hold a shield and sword respectively)

'I'm running low on apples, I need to kill some animals for food.'
*Moo~*
"Huh… that's pretty convenient, thanks dream, I guess."
'Now I guess it's time to finally test out how combat works in my dream.'

'It works just as It does on the java edition, what a shame. Still, it's kinda odd, considering it only takes that long because the character has to fully charge a swing, and I held my arm back pretty far.'
Theo quickly got accustomed to the combat system and killed every cow and pig in his area, but threw the leather away like fool. He then proceeded to sprint away for 5 minutes and as the sun was lowering, he luckily managed to find a village before the sun fell.
"Woah a village, I wonder if I can trade with things other than emeralds in this dream. But first I should sleep."
I soon found my way to the village
"I hope you don't mind if I sleep here." I said to no one in particular.
"No, of course not, feel free to sleep in this house, no one lives here anymore." Said a passing villager.
"You can understand me?!" I screamed ignoring the fact that I just had an out-of-body experience because of the sudden voice.
"Y-yeah…?"
"Ah, sorry, I'm just sleepy, I-I'll just head to bed, goodnight Mr…?" I said awkwardly trying to cover up my blunder.
"Just call me Josh." Said Josh.
"A-alright then I'm Theo, see you tomorrow."
"See ya." He said while walking away.
'This is weird, these villagers are nothing like the ones in the game. It's weird, I guess I cant steal their stuff… *sigh* I'll just sleep and hopefully wake up from this dream.'

As Theo opened his eyes, he noticed his surroundings and came to a frightening conclusion
'This isn't a dream.'

*Three minutes later*
'Did I actually Transmigrate into Minecraft? Without anything? I didn't get a golden spoon like those OP guys in those fanfics? This is unfair, I might be able to actually die here!'
Theo takes a deep breath and keeps his panic at bay he then tries to analyze his situation.
"If this is real I need to be careful, it might be an SAO-like situation. I need to find a desert temple and get geared up. Maybe I have to kill the neder dragon like kirito had to clear the dungeon? But going to the nether is pretty dangerous… No, I'm a pro, although I cant be careless, diamond armor will ensure that my death wont come too easily, especially if this is before the nether update." I said as I got ready to leave, but apparently, I'm just unlucky.
*HRRRRRNNNNNNN*
Screams of terror filled the air as the pillagers started to raid the village, I quickly got up and got ready to defend the village. I equipped my armor and sorted out my hot bar and I quickly made a bow before rushing out of the door.
"Josh! Make sure everyone is safe, I'll defend the village!" I yelled with urgency.
"WHAT?! Are you crazy! They have Ravagers and witches! You'll die, they are here for us, you don't have to die for us, just run!" Josh yelled incredulously.
"Don't worry Josh, I don't fight battles I'm not sure of winning." I said with confidence, like seriously, I fought many raids before, how bad could it be?
*Fwip* (the sound of a metaphorical flag raising)
"FIRE MEN, BURN DOWN THOSE VILLAGERS! TEAM RAVAGER, CAPTURE THE GOLEM!" Commanded the Pillager Captain.
"Stop right there criminal scum, you won't be destroying these villagers' homes!" I yelled as I held onto my bow and notched an arrow. Turns out the bow still followed Minecraft laws, therefore I could rapid-fire many full strength arrows that always flew straight if I pulled the string back completely, which is odd considering I can't do it for the sword, but food for thought.

But I didn't account for the sudden jaws that came from the ground.
*SHHHK*
"KILL THAT ARMORED HUMAN." Yelled the Pillager Captain and made everyone fire a volley of arrows from their crossbows

A volley of arrows flew my way as I was held down by the evoker jaws, and I was charged by the ravagers. So I did the only thing I possibly could.
'Please work shield! Don't you dare follow normal laws of physics, please, repel everything like the broken piece of garbage you are!'
And luckily, Microsoft excelled at making broken shit, and the shield worked. Although not as well as I would have hoped.

'Shit, I forgot, this is the java edition, arrows get stuck on shields, and-'
*CRRK*
"...And they get disabled by axes."
But luckily, the evoker couldn't hold the attack any longer, and I could finally escape from the bloodthirsty ravagers.
With silent anger, I held onto my sword and charged at the closest pillager, killing him in only two fully charged swings. I then picked up his crossbow and fired the loaded shot.
And after killing a few more pillagers, I was sneak attacked by a ravager, I was left on very few hearts, so I did the only thing that could possibly save me.
'STACK STACK STACK STACK STACK STACK, GO GO GO GO GO GO GO GO GO GO GO GO, BUILD UP!!!!!!!!!'
"The human is almost dead! Ravagers, break the blocks, end him!" Said the pillager captain.
I quickly ate my bread, because in the Java edition of Minecraft, eating to full saturation will give you a burst of regeneration.
"You almost killed me, but unfortunately, you're all fools, I've killed many creepers before coming to this village, and I also passed a beach so have plenty of sand!" I said with a grin. "I'm sorry villagers, it looks like I'll have to resort to plan B, TNT!" I yelled as I jumped out of my cobblestone tower and placed A pressure plate on a weird path block.
*TSSS* *TSSS* *TSSS*
"NOOOOOO, RETREAT! NOW!!!!!" Screamed the Pillager Captain, but it was too late.
