Nader got up early in the morning and dressed in his clothes, once he was dressed elegantly, he cut a part of the curtain hanging from the window and tied his hair in a small ponytail. Once everything was done, he left the room and headed to the training field, he was curious about the badges that some people were wearing during the banquet.
He didn't know what it was, but from what he had heard it functioned as an identifier in this world, he also heard the word 'status', which had piqued her curiosity.
The halls were so quiet that with every step he took, he produced echoes that echoed down the long hallway.
After a few minutes of walking, he arrived at the training field. It was about 100 square meters, everywhere on the field were humanoid targets made of straw and wood for the mages and soldiers to practice with.
When Captain Meld became aware of his presence, he raised and waved his hand at him in greeting while a big casual smile decorated his face. Nader returned the greeting with a simple gesture and stood at a distance not so far from him and leaned back on the training dummy.
They waited a few more minutes until finally, the students came like ducklings following their mothers, in this case, Aiko and Kouki. Most of them had tense expressions while the others remained superficially calm.
They all greeted Meld, and also Nader, although most of them were girls as the men were jealous of him.
As they were all present, Captain Meld handed each of them a silver rectangular badge that fit exactly in one hand along with a rather sharp pin.
"All right, we call these plates state plates. As the name suggests, they take various parameters and quantify them for you. They are also excellent identification cards. As long as you have these, you'll be fine even if you get lost somewhere, so don't lose it, you hear?" The knight captain explained.
"Alright, you see on the other side of the badge there is a magic circle inscribed. Use the needles I passed around to prick your finger and spill some blood in the circle. That will identify you as the owner of the plaque. Next, if you say 'Open Status', you will see your current stats displayed on the badge. Oh, and don't bother asking me how it works. No, I have no idea. These things are artifacts leftover from antiquity."
Nader grimaced, he had white blood so it would undoubtedly bring him trouble, he knew that in this world, humans despised the existence of non-humans. It's not like he was afraid of them either, he just didn't want to attract attention, or at least, not for now. He had not yet gathered enough information about this world.
He ignored Captain Meld's next explanations, and when no one was looking, he pricked his finger with the needle. He put his badge under it and made his white blood drip onto it before his tiny little wound was healed, he was left as if nothing had happened.
The formerly silver plate took on a white color that emitted a soft light all around before the white plate emitted a mowing light that forced the others to close their eyes.
A few other students screamed and asked what happened as the reaping light dimmed before disappearing completely. Slowly they opened their eyes again.
'Damn, and here I am wanting to stay hidden.' He cursed and ignored the stunning looks of the others on him as he turned his attention to his white badge, which had several parameters with golden letters and numbers on it.

Nadir looked at the stats that were written on the plaque with a little surprise in his heart.
'Mmm, it has a similar function to my system, although it was inferior... besides, the stats of a normal human of this world shown on the badge is 5, however, in my system, the stats of the principle that belongs to a normal human is 1, which makes my systems was much better to use it.' He compared the plate in his thoughts.
He also realized that this badge was a bit deficient, as it didn't show all of his parameters, such as void energy, strength, and mental defense.
"Alright then...", Captain Meld returned to his friendly attitude and nodded towards Nader before looking back at the summoned ones who still wanted to know what happened.
"Everyone, do as I told you before, prick your fingers and let your blood come in contact with the magic inscription on the plaque!"
Captain Meld's shout brought them back to their senses, they averted their gaze from Nader and turned their attention to their badges. Then they pricked their fingers with their respective needles.
When their blood fell on the magic inscription, each badge had different colors: sky blue, gold, brown, emerald green, etc.
Everyone was so impressed looking at their badges that they forgot to check their contents, which made Captain Meld shout at them again.
"Did you all get a good look at your stats? Okay, let me explain from the beginning. First, we have your level, see? That number grows as your other stats grow. The highest level is 100, and when you have reached that level you are at your limits as a human being. In other words, the current level shows how much of your full potential you have realized. Reaching 100 means unlocking all your latent potential, and it is a limit beyond which you cannot grow. Very few people reach level 100".
Nader smiled at this, level, he was a Celestial so that didn't apply to him, which meant that the status badge, at some point, would no longer be able to read his exact level.
Next, Captain Meld asked for the status badges of each of the summoned to inspect them.
And as usual, Kouki went ahead of the others and handed his status badges to the Captain.
"Wow, you have the work of a hero. You also have stats in the triple digits at level 1! Most people only have two or three skills! You're way beyond normal."
"Well, you know how it is..." Kouki scratched his head in embarrassment at Captain Meld's praise.
Then, the captain went through each of the summoned asking them for their status badges and explaining about their jobs.
Each of them was strong in their way and their specialty, but...
When he stood in front of a student, Captain Meld's euphoric face froze.
He muttered something and tapped the state plates a few times before passing it back to the summoned one and explaining about his jobs.
The boy named Hajime had a synergist class, a class that was not combat-based.
Seeing this, a student named Daisuke Hiyama smiled wickedly as he shouted at the synergist boy:
Nagumo, do you really have a non-combatant job? How the hell is a synergist going to fight a monster? Give me a break. You're going to fight something like that?" Hiyama crossed his arms provocatively as he said those words.
As Hajime looked around, he could see that most of his classmates, especially the boys, were laughing at him.
"Who knows. You never know until you try."
"If you're so confident, then show us your stats-".
"A synergist's job is pretty good. A synergist creates everything in one's imagination, he can make a simple mineral into a deadly weapon, it all depends on creativity, of course, this does not apply to people who have the brain of a chicken." Nader concluded his thoughts with a smile towards the annoyed Hiyama group.
The Hiyama group closed their mouths with their teeth clenched as if their mouths were sewn shut. Of course, they hated Nader to the bone, from day one, he always attracted the stares of the girls. But they still didn't know his strength so it was better to stay out of it, but if he turned out to be weak.... at that thought, a mischievous smile appeared on Hiyama's face, completely forgetting the light that had come from his plate earlier.
"Okay, everyone, let's continue with the status inspection and then for you to rest and continue our real training tomorrow."
He continued to check the remaining states until he was in front of the last remaining person. He passed his hand to Nader to pass him his badge.
Nader furrowed his eyebrows, pretty sure the Holy Church would decide to put him under restrictions and keep him under control.
'Heh, who cares, I'll most likely fight them sooner or later, they're not that strong either, as long as the Pope doesn't interfere right now, they won't be able to do anything to me.' He shook his head and placed the white badge in the captain's palm.
Captain Meld checked his badge and for a moment there was no expression on his face before he looked with an incredulous look at the badge and slapped it again as he had done with Hajime Nagumo's.
Seeing this, Hiyama's annoyed group laughed and loudly mocked Nader.
"Hey asshole, don't tell me you also have a shitty job like this pathetic otaku here? Was this why you had defended him?".
They approached Meld with an annoying smirk on their faces, Nader smiled and took his badge out of the hands of the captain who still wasn't coming out of his disbelief. Nader wanted to see what kind of expression these thugs would show when they realized the truth.
Hiyama stood in front of Nader and looked up, he was much taller than Hiyama. The heterochromatic eyes fixed on him, Hiyama felt a tingling sensation through his body as he swallowed a mouthful of saliva.
But that only made him angrier, "Hey, are you scared and hid your badge from the captain's hands? Come on, show us your stats." Hiyama simply wanted to intimidate Nader and show the girls that he was just a cute and fragile guy that they could step on at any time.
The girls watching them were looking at Hiyama and his group with contempt. Shizuku was about to intervene, when...
"Sure, here." Nader casually passed his status badge to Hiyama so that even his subordinates peeking behind him could see it.
When he took his badge he was already preparing to burst out laughing and ridicule him in front of everyone, but when he saw the absurd amounts of statistics engraved on it, his expressions and his previous sneers were replaced by one of disbelief and then, to an expression of fear as they took a few steps back.
The only thought that went through their minds at these moments was, 'I screwed up.' They finally realized why the Captain was in disbelief, not because he was weak, instead, it was because he was quite strong, even stronger than Captain Meld himself, as he only had an overall stat of 300.
"I think they've seen enough, don't you think, kid?". Nader said with a smile that wasn't a smile as he placed a hand on top of Hiyama's shoulder.
"Y-yes, here's your badge sir!", he firmly swiped the badge as his legs trembled, all he wanted right now was to escape this place as fast as possible.
"Oh, what about your previous actions, weren't you pretty sure you wanted to humiliate me?".
"N-no, we were just joking around, yeah, joking around, right!". He said with a forced smile as beads of sweat dripped from his face, he turned to his group who were trembling, and nodded under his menacing gaze.
The students could tell that Nader was powerful from the frightened expression of the group of bullies, after all, if he was weak, he would have already been outwitted by Hiyama's group. But they were also curious about the full extent of his strength, as even Kouki, who was the strongest among them, did not surprise their captain to this extent.
"Oh, really? Since it's like this, you can get out of my sight." He patted Hiyama's shoulder hard which made his body creak.
They were the kind of people who liked to bully the weakest and kneel and kiss the shoes of the strongest. They were the kind of people that Nader disliked the most.
Hiyama and his group turned and retreated with shaky steps toward the group of students. Their backs were drenched with cold sweat.
"Well?" said Nader as he looked at Captain Meld who was already back in his shoes.
He did not intervene earlier because he wanted to see the kind of person Nader was. If he was a person who didn't tolerate bullying and beat them up, he would certainly inform the kingdom to get Nader under control before he grew up. He was a level 1 terrifying monster that already had stats of 500. If they were enemies, he would certainly be the worst enemy they would have, but also the best ally if they fought together in the war against the demons.
"Nader, right. Well, with your current stats even surpassing mine, I don't have anything I could teach you, but if you want you could teach the other summoned ones to get stronger." He said for the first time with a serious expression.
When the students heard the captain's words, they were surprised. stronger than him?. With that in mind, they turned around and surrounded Hiyama's group asking questions about Nader's stats, even the hero of the group was curious.
"I refuse, I'm not interested in teaching them anything." He said as he put one of his hands on his chin with a thoughtful look, then continued, "What I want right now is a bookstore, surely you have one in this kingdom right?".
"Oh yes, we have a library in this realm, when I finish the explanations I will personally guide you in that place, since I have nothing to do, hahaha". The captain went back to his casual way of speaking and expressing himself while smiling from ear to ear.
To the remaining explanations the captain referred to, they were only useless information to Nader as it was about magic and its uses.
When Captain Meld finally put an end to his explanations, he dismissed the summoned and approached Nader, who all this time had been watching while humming an unfamiliar song.
"I'm sorry to keep you waiting. We can leave at this time." He said as if they were about to embark on a long and arduous journey as he began to walk away.
Nader shrugged and followed him.
Soon they were in one of the corridors of the castle, in front of a huge hall. Even from the window, Nader could see piles of books stacked on the shelves.
"So boy, this far I'll walk you," said Captain Meld standing in place as he patted Nader's shoulder, who was much taller than him.
"Thanks for your time," Nadir thanked as the captain walked back.
Nader entered the library and walked over to a bookshelf to grab a book. Then he took a seat on a nearby stool and began to read at his leisure.
Two whole weeks passed in this way, engrossed in the library books. He had only gone out in the evenings to train his skills and techniques to learn them again.
The only person besides him who visited the library was the boy named Hajime Nagumo. He had no remarkable improvement during these two weeks, so he was visiting this place in order not to feel like a burden to others, at least he wanted to learn more about this world.
In this time, Nader gathered quite a lot of important information, at least, he already knew where to start moving.
According to what Nadir learned so far; it was that the influence of the 'God Ehit' was worse than he imagined, a clear example was the discrimination towards the semi-humans: just because they could not use magic, they were labeled as monsters whom God has abandoned, because the people of this world saw magic as the gift of the gods. Even the demons, who worshiped a different God than humans, discriminated against the demi-humans.
Thus, the half-humans, who had no allies, went deep into the Haltina forest cutting all ties with the outside world.
Because both humans and demons had a different God than they idolized, they saw each other as mortal enemies.
Such were the beings, always fighting for a different point of view, for different idolatry, and a different fanaticism. In this case, it was about two races, humans and demons who idolized different gods.
Not all semi-humans were mistreated and discriminated against, though. In the coastal city of Erisen, on the shores of the western ocean, lived a group of demi-humans called "Dagoon", they were a group that produced about 80% of the seafood of the kingdom, the reason why the kingdom protected them.
Nader had laughed at this. They simply protected him because they were useful to them, if they contributed nothing to the kingdom, they would be seen as pests that fouled the water and would also be a source of intimidation like the other demi-humans.
But the information that from his point of view is the most beneficial and important to him undoubtedly were 'The seven great labyrinths' that were scattered all over the world.
The seven labyrinths, in the books he read, are places listed as highly dangerous where many adventurers challenged him never to see the dawn of tomorrow again.
The maze that was closest to this place was the 'Great Orcus Maze', located southwest of the Heiligh kingdom, between the capital, and the Gruen desert (the other maze). Haltina Forest, the home of the demi-humans is also one of these seven dangerous mazes.
Although only three of the seven mazes have been documented and confirmed, there were also some markings in the old books where such mazes were believed to be, namely the Reisen Gorge, which divides the northern and southern continent in half, and the other potential candidate was the Schnee Snowfields.
He put the book he was reading back on the shelf and got up from the stool he was sitting on as he stretched his stiff body making his bones thunder against each other.
He looked out the window where the moonlight faintly illuminated the room, it was late at night. He left the library and closed the door.
"Well, let's see what this maze has in store for me."
