A cold touchdown

Piet waited until Frits had the jet in it's designated direction before he unbuckled.

"We brought you a lucky packet" He said bringing over a large duffle bag. Frits set the plane in autopilot so he and Koos could also come and sit with them.

Opening the bag Koos took out a standard issue AK-47.

"It was a little short notice boet, so we got you this, if it's Alaska I think this will be the best choice anyway, it being so cold there"

Phillip took the rifle from him and nodded "This will do"

Suzette knowing Phillip for six years now was at ease with what happened in front of her, but Simmons had wide eyes.

"The ammo unfortunately isn't good grade, we gathered up all the old insurgent rounds we had lying around from Angola's days" Koos held one round up.

"It's a bullet, and bullets kill" Phillip said.

What Koos meant by grade in ammo, was the rounds the insurgents used in Angola were not well made, partially on purpose.
