'Lvl Up!
Congratulations to cores {Neil} and {Zion} for reaching core level 2. New automaton unlocked and upgrades to [Animal automata]. AoI has expanded'
With this Zion and Neil began to investigate their new additions. Their Aoi had expanded mostly downward. Along with that they unlocked fire automata, and the ability to create larger creatures. Now with their greater mana pool they began to expand, creating a new room based off the animal automata right next to the first room.
3rd Pov:
The new room was almost complete, it was filled with trees and shrubs to hide the creatures within. This room is just another way into the maze room, causing entrance at a slightly more advantageous point. They decided to build the room around the connection of predator and prey connection. First putting in smaller animals like, mice rats, shrews, small birds and so on that can serve as mainly prey, keeping an eye out for invaders while hiding in the greenery. Next came some larger predators and prey, foxes, small herds of dear (No more that 5 in each herd), and predatory birds, these can serve as both a look out and attacters, with sharp antlers, teeth, fangs, and claws. And finally the larger predators such as a bear, which was a little be too, strong so they put it in a corner where it won't roam far from, and a handful of wolves in the hope that they form packs and once they do they will serve as roaming sentries, each wolf on its own weak but together strong.
To balance out these creatures strength there was a hidden reward of sorts put in place, although these creatures are mostly metallic there are parts that they use to look more realistic, like fur and feathers, if you take the time too remove these sections, you will find a semi-flexible and durable material that is more effective than just plain leather, or similar materials, in defense, while the fur or feathers remain soft.
Zion Pov:
"Aaand done!" I said as I put the finishing touches on the entrance to the new room, doing my best to partially hide the entrance so Neil's plan would work.
"Ya done, guess it's my turn then." Neil says. He focuses on the creatures of the new room, all except the bear if she joined in that would just be mean. Then he gives them an order, if an adventurers (or Sen) passes the entrance to the new room without entering, the creatures are to leave the new room into the entrance room, and patrol around, looking for the adventurers for 30 minutes. We sent Sen out to see if it works. He quickly left the aries where he was training with Rashid, our unique little Glow-bun. He quickly exited the maze room and came to the entrance, pausing for a moment before moving back where he came from passing the entrance to the new room on his way. He left the entrance room and went back to training while we waited for the answer to our hypothesis.
The creatures soon flowed out semi-silently spreading out and patrolling the forests around them. The exit of the other creatures did have a weird effect on the bear though, it began to wander outside of its cordoned off area, heading to the portion of the river we stretched into the room to go play in the water. I think it's playing at least, it looks scarily adorable. Shortly before the 30 min time limit was up the bear got up and shook itself dry and re entered its zone shortly followed by the re-entrance of the rest of the creatures, now that the time limit was up.
