Xand Pov:
Exhausted, I raise my hand at our victory, the battle lasted for what felt like hours but we couldn't rest yet there have been tales of dungeons in their early stages freaking out once their boss was defeated sending hordes of monsters after the adventurers. Anders pulled Shannon up from her sitting position, earring a grunt of pain from Shan. We took a minute to get used to the new wounds on our body, then we began our exit from the dungeon.
We trekked back through the hallway that led us to the boss, the tunnel's size reducing as we go along. Once we entered the maze room a strange creature awaited us, unlike all the other creatures we've seen before this one was entirely machine. It looked like a Dire Glow Rabbit but instead of its glowing fur instead of ears the creature had flood lights giving off a dim glow even now, along with that its body is made of white metal plates connected together by pieces we couldn't see. Preparing for a fight we tensed up our bodies but, unlike we expected the creature didn't rush forward to attack us instead it retreated into the maze a few meters spun on the spot and looked back at us. Carefully we creeped forwards once we were within a few feet of the creature it would dart off to the next intersection. This continued on until we got to the entrance of the maze where once we got close to the creature it dashed in between our legs and back into the maze.
Entering back into the first room we continued exiting, we walked for a short while when we came upon a group of the mannequins. We got ready for battle but a few minutes later the creatures still didn't move. Exercising caution Anders carefully walked around the creatures, observing them all the while. During this the creatures didn't move an inch. We followed Anders lead circling around the creatures. When we rejoined with Anders, Shan took the back to watch the creatures as we continued exiting the dungeon.
As we exited I stretched my arms and took a deep breath, I never realized before that the sun shining and fresh air were such great feelings. Now that we finished our delve, we have to report to the owner of this land
Lia Pov:
I'm sitting at my desk recording the information we currently have about the dungeon, hopefully those kids get back soon. His Majesty is really putting pressure on to get this new dungeon's information. Thinking about this I begin to stress but I quickly calm down because of the gentle tap tap tap MarMar makes as they walk around. I don't think hearing them walk around will ever fail to make me happy, I'm so happy I met them and was able to-
My train of thought was cut off by the swish of the tent curtain being pulled back and the three young adventurers stepping inside.
"Mara Atailan, we have come back with the information you asked for."
