Aside from waiting fifteen minutes and the exorbitant price, the taxi trip to Kyōko's apartment was rather uneventful.

The building seemed more modern than my former apartment condo. This building had at least four times the number of floors with wider and taller windows. To top it off, it was closest to the center of the city than the rest of our places.

Sachiko, Kyōko in Tetsuya's body, and I arrived at the entrance. However, we got stuck as soon as we reached the lobby.

Kyōko tapped her thighs, but she didn't even have pockets.

"Whoops," she uttered. "I forgot that I don't have the access card with me."

"I'll call Tetsuya," I said as I took my phone out of my pocket. The call rang a few times before he picked it up. I talked before him. "Hey, we need you to come to the lobby with the access card."

"Where is it?"

I asked Kyōko, "Where is the card?"
