The car drove along the long street, and Cherish Turner gazed at the scenery outside the window, looking back to ask, "How did you find the time today?"

William Griffith laughed and teased, "What, you didn't want me to pick you up?"

"No," Cherish also laughed, "I just don't want to trouble you."

"I happened to have a gathering nearby, and the timing was just about right, so I came," said William calmly, glancing through the front mirror at the group of people who had left.

"Doctor Liam really is a gentleman," said secretary Cheey, unable to hide her envy.

Smith, having drunk a bit too much, was slightly tipsy. "President Griffith, let's call it a day. You should go back to the hotel and rest."
