Cleaning up.

They nodded their heads in agreement 'cause that was the most important right now. Finding out the root cause of this apocalypse was very important, they can't stay in the dark forever? When that has been handled, they can then focus on finding out the situations of other cities. And who knows? They could migrate to another city that was free of zombies as fast as possible.

"We'll soon send another group of teenage soldiers to go get that scroll, we are preparing them...we'll keep trying". Captain Wayne voiced out.

They all nodded their heads, then Monk Talon said,

"I think these five should be in the same group, they should go on missions together when the time reaches".

He was referring to, Hugo, and the other four students. Captain Wayne glanced at them and stated,

"I think that is a good idea".

It was at this point that Hugo decided to glance at the four of them properly, the two males and two females. Look at the girls, they were pretty, but one was prettier. And the guys also, not bad, they were good looking. The one with a bit of hefty body and darker skin was more handsome. He wanted to know their names, but now wouldn't be the right time for them to start introducing themselves to each other.

The four of them glanced at him also, and Hugo just positioned his face in a way that screams, 'I wasn't looking at you guys'. Captain Wayne glanced at the four students and inquired of them,

"You guys have started your training, right?".

"Yes sir". They retorted in unison.

He then glanced at Hugo and said, "You'll start your training tomorrow after class, get ready".

Hugo just nodded his head, then the captain spoke again, "And I'll be the one to begin your training, is that clear?".

"Yes sir". Hugo voiced out.

"Now, you guys have been informed about a lot of things, you are just as knowledgeable as the students in this academy. The knowledge I and Monk Talon have, you guys have them too. So, I think it's about time for evacuation". Captain Wayne said.

And the moment he made that statement, he patted the monk on his back and said,

"Thank you, Monk Talon, for coming when I needed you, thanks for explaining those things to the students".

"It's nothing", Monk Talon said as he was already standing up from the floor, "I did what I needed to do. Of what use am I to this academy if I can't help in explaining those little things? It's nothing".

Done standing, he strolled out of the compartment. Then Captain Wayne focused his attention on the five students and said to them,

"I ain't thinking about it anymore, I have decided, the five of you would be in the same group under the Class A. You guys would go on missions together if the need arises...and that's when you guys are well skilled".

The five of them just nodded their heads and glanced at each other. Then Captain Wayne said to them excluding, Hugo,

"You guys can go now, we'll see at the cafeteria".

The four of them walked out of the compartment, then Captain Wayne focused his attention on Hugo and said,

"I think you need to go take your bath, you need to look fresh".

"Yeah, I was thinking about that also, I feel so clammy. And I'm also feeling hungry, if possible, I want to drink something sweet also". Hugo stated.

"You'll have to wait till when it's time for everyone to eat. After the cooks are done preparing something, we'll all meet at the cafeteria to eat as one family. But as for drinking something sweet, I don't know if you'll be able to do that today, maybe next time. But I assure you, you'll be able to drink water".

Ugh, water, Hugo wasn't interested in that right now, he needed something sweet, but since he's been informed that he wouldn't be able to achieve that today, there's nothing he could do about it. The main aim for him now was to take his bath. He journeyed to this academy without bathing once.

"So, where do I take my bath?". Hugo inquired.

Hugo sauntered as he kept on glancing around the compound of the academy. Right now, Miya, one of the female soldiers that took part in establishing this academy was taking him to where he'll draw water which he'll use in taking his bath.

There were taps in the bathrooms of this academy, but it was just like an on-and-off situation. Sometimes, water would be flowing out of the taps freely, and sometimes, it wouldn't run for a whole three days. So to avoid water shortage, Captain Wayne and his other comrades dug up a well. It wasn't easy, but they accomplished it.

So the well was always there to provide them with water even when the taps weren't running. And right now, the taps weren't running, so Miya was taking Hugo to the well. They arrived at the well, and Miya took off the round metal used in covering it. She glanced at Hugo and said,

"The taps aren't running currently, so you'll have to draw water from this well which you'll use in bathing and brushing your teeth".

Wells wasn't a new thing for Hugo, he was from ancient times, so they had lots of wells. These taps she was speaking of, they don't have them in ancient times. There was an iron container close to the well with long rope tied to it. Miya grabbed it and handed it over to Hugo and said,

"This is what you'll use in drawing out water from the well. Wait here let me go get you a bucket, sponge, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, and a towel".

After making that statement, she walked away. Hugo just stood there glancing at the iron container and glancing into the well, they weren't new things to him. The well was somehow deep, digging it wouldn't have been easy for them. Waiting for some minutes, Miya arrived with all the things she said she was gonna bring. She handed the bucket over to him and said,

"Fill this bucket with water, and I'll take you to where the bathrooms are situated".

Hugo began drawing out water from the well and pouring it into the bucket, the water was so neat. Filling the bucket, she told him to carry it, he did as he was told and began following her from behind. They strolled to one of the buildings in the compound, then reaching a certain door, she opened it as the both of them stepped foot into it.

It was just like a passage, and Hugo could see doors lined across it. She said to him,

"These are the female bathrooms, so you aren't supposed to enter them or make use of them".

She opened another door which brought them to another passage, and doors were lined across it also. She uttered to him once again,

"These are the male bathrooms, you're free to make use of any of them. The door we entered to get to this place is just like a shortcut. Before entering, you noticed that there was another door close to the one we entered, right?".

Hugo just nodded his head in an answer to her question, then she continued speaking,

"That's the door you should be entering anytime you want to make use of the bathroom, it would lead you straight to this place".

"OK".

She handed over to him everything that she brought. The sponge, the soap, the toothbrush, and so on. Then she said to him once again,

"When you're done bathing, I'll hand some clothes to you so you'll change up. And don't just enter any of the bathrooms like that, knock to see if someone is in, and if no one is, then, you can enter".

After making that statement, she strolled to the door, opened it, and stepped out. Hugo did as he was told, he strolled to one of the doors of the bathrooms, knocked on it, and even uttered,

"Is anyone in?".

There was no response, so he opened the door and stepped foot into the bathroom. Look at the bathroom, it was so neat and sparkling. Parts of the walls of the bathroom were tiled, while the rest weren't. And the ground was tiled also, all of it, and though the tiles were white, they were sparkling. Look at the water closet, so neat, this was very different from the bathrooms in ancient times...very different.

He also sighted the tap Miya spoke of, it wasn't running as she said. A shower was also in the bathroom, but it wasn't running also. Without wasting time, Hugo put paste on his toothbrush and began brushing his teeth. Done brushing his teeth, he undressed, it's time to take his bath.
