Wait while doing nothing.

"Yeah, yeah, true, so, the first thing I want to know is your name". Hugo voiced out.

"My name is, Vera". Vera uttered.

'She is pretty, and her name is pretty too'. Hugo thought to himself.

Vera noticed that Hugo was spacing out again, so she inquired,

"Any prob? Is everything OK?".

"Yeah, yeah, why not".

"OK".

"So, do you still remember my name?".

Vera pondered for some seconds, but she couldn't remember it, so she said,

"Sorry, I don't remember it, can you remind me?".

"Hugo, that's my name".

"Oh! yeah, Hugo, I remember now. So, is there anything else you want to know?". She inquired.

Hugo had noticed something about her, she seems like the apathetic kind of person, like, she wasn't concerned about a lot of things...it was evident from her facial expression. But Hugo wasn't concerned about that, she was beautiful, and he was ready to overlook that apathetic behavior of hers 'cause of her beauty.

And at this moment, he was spacing out again, she noticed it, and she inquired of him again,

"Like seriously, is everything OK?".

"Yeah".

"So, is there anything else you want to know?".

Since he was mesmerized by her beauty, he ended up asking a stupid question.

"So, when did you arrive at this academy?".

He knows that she arrived here either two days ago, or three days ago, but he was stupid at that moment, so he had forgotten. She glanced at him somehow and uttered,

"I thought Captain Wayne mentioned that, well, I arrived here about two days ago".

"Oh, that's cool. And it's now that I just remembered that the captain had mentioned it".

"So, is there anything else you want to know?". She inquired once again with a bit of bored facial expression.

"Umm..nothing else, I'm really glad that I've gotten to know your name. It would be really weird for us to be in the same group and I don't know your name". Hugo voiced out.

"OK, yeah, that's true, so I'll like to go to sleep now. I was trying to sleep off before I began hearing your voice".

"Sure, you can go to sleep, at least, I've gotten to know your name. I'll just descend from the ladder".

She lay back on the bed, and Hugo began dismounting the ladder. He got down, stared at Vera for some seconds, then he began heading to his bed. He got to his bed and sat on it, and he was feeling a type of satisfaction. He's gotten to know the names of the students in his group, and that was an accomplishment on its own already.

Not like knowing the names of the other students in this compartment weren't important, but he's got no time for that. He doesn't even know who would snub him and who would answer him. At that very moment, he began thinking about, Vera, she was pretty, but she's got an apathetic behavior, but Hugo didn't care about that.

Had he fallen for her? He can't say yet, he wasn't sure. He stood up, strolled to a spot where he'll be able to sight her, the spot was perfect 'cause he's sighted her already, then he began staring. He couldn't see her face 'cause she was facing the other side, all he was seeing was her backside. Even her backside was beautiful.

He strolled back to his bed, sat on it, then he decided that it was about time to go to sleep, so he lay on it. The guy sleeping at the top bed had fallen asleep already...he had reached wonderland. As Hugo was lying on the bed, he was still thinking about, Vera. And at that moment, he heard the system's voice,

[ Ding! Ding!]

[ Host is in love]

Why was the system mentioning this? Though Hugo felt like telling the system, 'Shut it up', he just kept silent. He managed to remove Vera from his mind, then he began thinking about his training tomorrow. His training along with Captain Wayne was gonna begin tomorrow, how was it gonna be?

After some minutes, he wasn't thinking about anything anymore, and he began drifting into sleep slowly, and after some minutes more...he had dozed off.

Hugo's eyes opened, and he glanced to the left, it was morning already. Some people weren't on their beds anymore, they had left the compartment. Hugo stood up and glanced at the top of the bunk bed, the guy sleeping there wasn't there anymore. He stood at that spot perfect for staring at, Vera, but she wasn't on her bed anymore, seems like she does wake early.

He strolled to Evelyn's bed, but she wasn't there anymore, but the person sleeping beneath was still there. But you know what? After strolling around, he sighted Ryder and Everett still lying on their beds and sleeping. The females had woken up already and left the room, but the males were still here sleeping?

Well, he was no different, he just woke up now. He didn't know if he should wake them or leave them, it's better to leave them, they could roar when he wakes them. He checked his belongings, they were intact, so he strolled out of the room and onto the compound. He saw people drawing out water from the well, while some were waiting behind for them to finish.

People that want to take their baths and brush their teeth. Taking his bath right now would be a bad idea. It wouldn't even be possible 'cause of the number of people that want to make use of the bathrooms right now. He was gonna wait for them to reduce, so he began heading back to the compartment. Who knows, he could just get there, lay on his bed, and fall asleep once again.

Lots of people took their baths, and as time passed, many people weren't drawing out water from the well again, it was about time for Hugo to take his bath. He took a bucket, strolled to the well, fill it with water, sauntered to where the male bathrooms were situated, and entered one of them.

He brushed his teeth, then he took his bath, dried himself, covered his waist down to his leg with a towel, then he came out of the bathroom. It was normal thing in this academy, the guys easily cover themselves with towels whenever they were done bathing. It doesn't matter if girls were staring, at least, they weren't seeing their...

He strolled into the compartment and dressed up. Done dressing, Everett that had just woken from sleep not long ago strolled to him and uttered,

"You've taken your bath?".

"Yeah". Hugo responded, then he questioned, "You just waking from sleep?".

"Yeah".

"Hmm, OK".

"I think it's better I go brush my teeth and freshen up".

Everett uttered lastly as he strolled away from Hugo's presence. At this point, Hugo was confused on what to do next, should he go meet Captain Wayne since they were gonna be training today? But they hadn't eaten breakfast yet, the normal thing was for everyone to eat breakfast before morning activities commence. He sighted Ryder, and he decided that he was gonna go ask him 'What next'.

He's been here for more than three days, so he should be able to answer his question. He strolled to where Ryder was standing, and the both of them shook hands, then Hugo inquired of him,

"So, what next?".

"What do you mean 'what next?'. Ryder uttered throwing a question at him also.

"I mean, so what activities are gonna take place this morning? I'm supposed to begin my training today with Captain Wayne, should I go meet him?".

"Before anything begins, everyone would have to eat breakfast first. The cooks are still preparing something, and I think they are almost done. Once we done eating, for today, we'll go to our class first for some activities, then everyone would leave for training". Ryder explained.

"Oh, understood. So I'll just have to wait now for the cooks to finish preparing something".

"Exactly, to keep yourself busy, just bring out your p...oh! You've got no phone".

"Yeah".

"I wanted to tell you to bring out your phone and play games while waiting for the cooks to finish cooking. There are lots of games that don't need internet and connection to play them. But unfortunately, you don't have a phone, so you'll just have to wait while doing nothing. I'll be going now, gotta go take my bath".

And with that, Ryder walked away from his presence. The truth was, he was from ancient times, so he never had a phone. There was nothing he could do about it, he'll just have to sit down and wait while doing nothing.
